It worked left beta program re enrolled updated now can see PIN feature pretty cool thanks

Awesomeness, excellent! I'm glad to hear that work! What happened to me with the Google app the beta version versus the regular version. I hadn't rolled in the Google app beta version to fix the Google Assistant on my Pixel Buds. It was smoking my battery though unfortunately. I exited the beta program uninstall the app re-synced it, and my battery went back to normal and so did my Google Assistant in my pixel buds.

I honestly don't even care how many messages I can pin at the top. The fact that Google messages can now pin conversations is a nice feature.

Yes it is nice to have e my daughter and mum pinned as RCS is our main method of keeping in touch outside a phone call

Thought I would check my battery. Ever since I turned of AOD the life is even more ridiculous. I have had it on 2 days and 41% battery left. Look!!

Yep yep I hear you completely! The only problem with AOD off He said it does provide essential information about a notifications, whether, the date, and time on your drawstring without you having to light up anything. You can just glance at it. I'm trial testing another web graph and see if that saves me any more battery versus Chrome, VIA, and other main popular browsers on the Play Store. Basically, I love having AOD on, and I would rather have it on than having to light up my lock screen every time I walk away from my phone. If that makes sense? Lol 🙄😦😲

Oh yes. But I have 3 phones and the pixel is in a holder behind my Samsung. So I see the Samsung screen before I see my pixel screen so I don't mind having it turned.off

Hehehe, fair enough! Good point! Yeah, for me, over the weekend I tested turning my AOD off, and my battery is better but the functionality of AOD is way too important to most of us lol. Check out my battery stats right now...

That is great!

Here's something really interesting I've noticed.... material you auto-theming is much better looking with light mode vs dark mode. Dark mode in my opinion dulls the material you auto theming out a lot.

I've kinda been following this thread off and on...I'm assuming there has been some updates. I know the first beta, most were saying not polished enough for daily driver. Those of you using it right now, what would you say? Still buggy or give it a whirl? (I say that knowing it's a beta and what that entails)

At this point beta 2.1, I'd say give it a shot on your phone. My Pixel 5 is my daily driver, and I've had no major issues at all. You're going to get hiccups and glitches here and there, but nothing major or serious.

Thanks Eric...maybe I'll give it a whirl this weekend

Running Android 12 Beta 2 has been just fine on my Pixel 4a, which is my only phone. It has a few bugs, some only annoy me it seems, some annoy others. We are beta testers and any bugs we find does need to be reported if we are going to help the process along.
If you want to give it a whirl go for it. I think you'll be very impressed with it.

Ay caramba...GMail refuses to work. Opens briefly and crashes. That's a problem.

Did you do a reboot of the phone? If that doesn't do it clear the cache and data of Gmail app, reboot phone.
