Yes , are you wanting U Stable OneUI 6.0 or U1 Stable OneUI 6.0?
Either way you can odin either U1 or U Stable OneUI 6.0, if you odin with U1 you need to use Odin patch if your gonna odin U then Regular Odin, also in CSC slot use Home_CSC not CSC, Home_CSC will not wipe your data.

I haven't done much modding since back in my Note 4 days lol.
Back then it was rooted, this, that, everything else I could try. Back to being a total nube.
And of course I'm afraid of bricking my S23 Ultra. I can certainly wait for the Verizon stable to hit, just like to tinker.

I'm not sure really, I'm stock Verizon so I'm thinking stable U. Any reason/benefit in going to U1? Doable to my S23 Ultra?
Thanks for answering my random questions lol.
U1 no big difference some prefer it cause has less bloatware, but if your in U Carrier Verizon then go with U.

Very hard to Brick a Samsung phone especially if your using Odin which is official.

In order for Odin to work, you have to put your phone in download mode. Power off your phone, hold all three buttons at the same time to boot it into download mode. Volume up, down and power.
I also downloaded the firmware from samfw.com. Way faster than Frija.

That's where I got the tip from. I went from Beta 9 to stable using TMB U1 firmware along with HOME_CSC. The update literally took 5 seconds after Odin transferred the file and rebooted the phone.
I may be getting old, and the ROM and root enthusiast me from the past may be dissapointed... But for me there was nothing in stable that was worth going to the minor effort of removing the little silicone butt plug from my USB port and plugging it into a computer for...

Then again, I got stable a week or two ago, so it's hard to say lol.

You're getting old... welcome to the club 😉

I have odin and tmb files downloaded. But do I need to downgrade from beta first? Or just use odin as usual?

I've rooted Android since cupcake and decided I have no time for such things around the Note 8. Android 1 NEEDED root and community roms. It got better slowly.

I see no need for roms on the 23.

I'm a senior citizen.

Root is not necessary for theses phones waste of time and Root is basically dead, that is why Developer's most won't waste there time the way theses phones are is way better than a rooted phone, it's just a waste.
