Android 14 Stable/One UI 6.0 Now Out

Should it have to be Odin? If I unenroll from beta and switch to official version using smart switch, that'll also take us to the official build right? I don't mind the factory reset/data being wiped.

That could work but it's been awhile since doing that

OS updates always break things
Not talking about unintended breaks, which actually haven't happened in a very long time for me. Talking about them intentionally removing capabilities from Tasker Settings that I use to control wifi in specific situations and my wireguard tunnel automations. I have a workaround, just not feeling playing with ADB and the eyerolls from family members because they get easily annoyed when I have to fix things that android broke on purpose. (And just as easily annoyed when the things they relied on stop working until I fix them)

You don't have to unenroll from the beta, you will get the stable version automatically. Just in case you don't know.

Out of interest, what makes you think these features were broken intentionally?

Yeah Odin is very quick just downloading firmware takes time
Back long ago with my Note 9 with At&T, it stopped doing ANY update. Trying to find the AT&T updates was dang near impossible. With the help of Mustang7757, I started using the T mobile firmware. It worked but never fixed the update issue. Until I finally found the AT&T version. Took FOREVER to download it. Once done through Odin, with the proper firmware, my 9 suddenly started downloading by itself again. Until it reached EOL. But I thank Mustang7757 for getting me through that mess.
Now, if my 23 doesn't fall into the same pit, I'll be happy. Lol

When I say breaks things I also include the things they took away. Anything that doesn't work from the original OS I consider broken. Just my thinning anyway

Reverted from beta to 5.1 using smart switch. Then had to install few security updates to get to October build and then got offered stable One UI 6 build.

Definitely not the quickest way to get to stable build but gets the job done

XDA OneUI 6.0 Stable for U and U1 was posted there for Odin.
That's where I got the tip from. I went from Beta 9 to stable using TMB U1 firmware along with HOME_CSC. The update literally took 5 seconds after Odin transferred the file and rebooted the phone.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, I can Odin Mobile 6.0 update to my stock locked S23 Ultra on Verizon?
Can anyone elaborate please?
Thanks
