Well, ratsttam did called it. They are coming faster so I'm thinking they are focusing on one or two defects. Mostly the modem issue as noted by ratsttam. I think they want to implement the modem fix here so they can port the same over to the nexus s.

Not to start a contest here but I did mention the modem crashing issues about 3 or 4 posts before ratsttam did... But anyways I'll let him take the credit.

I'm ready for a new leak to try out cuz I hate how there won't be any real development and ROMs until the official goes up.

I agree a new leak would be nice to try...

I don't blame the devs and themers for not wanting to go full blast on any of these leaks... Put all that work into them to find out Sammy changes something that completely messes with your work...

It took CyanogenMod devs about 100 builds to get to a release candidate for 2.3.4. Hopefully the coding guys at Samsung are more productive.

"Good news... We will bring new GINGERBREAD for SGH-T959V and SPH-D700."
and that they have EG14

I'm sure they could be in some ways a test pilot for the future Epic 2 but the test builds wouldn't have the SPH-D700 numbers in the build unless they were intended for the Epic 4g. Otherwise we have had both Sprint and Samsung say we will get GB so its now just a matter of when they feel they have a solid enough build to go official with.

No doubt! I don't want credit for calling out the modem issue. I'm affected by it, so I bring it up. I think he was referring to the fact I called a new leak by end of the weekend, and not who called out the modem issue weeks ago.
Either way, its because I follow samfirmware closely, is how I know things somewhat quickly. I just like sharing the newswith everybody who might not have known.
