nothing...been trying a while now.. tried to manually update but got stuck with the button presses to get into abd. cant get the zip to push even with wugs tool and temp booting into a custom recovery. :/

I'm also in Birmingham, haven't received the update yet. Can anyone confirm that this update also fixes the unresponsive touch screen issue?

I decided I should get the update and start semi-fresh. To recap, a side-loaded driver pack (I believe) prevented the update from installing. I backed up my N7 using Nexus 7 Toolkit, flashed it with 4.1.1, rebooted, got 4.1.2 OTA, then restored my apps and rooted it. I deleted my screen rotation software and now all's well. A few apps had to re-download data (including 2.4Gb of maps for TomTom Navigator), but that only took a few minutes. Note that, despite TomTom saying their app only runs on smaller resolution screens, it runs and works just fine on the N7.

cleared Google services framework and the update showed up right away. So this method works.

Still no update I thought Nexus devices get updates quicker than this

Not working for me. I tried the manual way but my device always freezes at the Google logo and never launches into recovery.

Question, how quick are you expecting an update? I mean, I was just announced Tuesday. I understand you haven't got it yet, but is getting it today or tomorrow really too long for you?

Just did the clear data method trying to force the update and I got it. Had to do it 3 or 4 times. Updated and still have my root. :D Now all I need is JB on my GS3 and I'll be a happy nerd

Still no update for me. Might try this clear data thing everyone is talking about!

I'd give it a shot. Might have to do it 10 times lol.

Now I have to take car of this very slight screen lift I've been ignoring for 2 months. -_- I hope that works then my 7 will be PERFECT

Good luck with the screen lift! Hope it works out for you, I've been lucky to not experience that as of yet and I've had mine for a while now. Guess I don't us it as much though as I'm test driving a fruit product!

I got the update right after I got home from work. As soon as it hit wifi.
