3.7 inches for the Droid is great, but 4.3 and not having to overclock the poor Droid would be awesome.

I always wanted a pocket sized movie playing device....

Also tired of not enough memory to put all my apps on the Droid, and most Froyo apps do not allow themselves to be installed to the SD card....

Droid X FTW!!!

It would be awesome to win the Droid X and upgrade from my Droid or even add it to my family account as another line. Even being a dev and this device having a locked bootloader it would still be awesome to work with that much screen. Lots of entries guys so good luck to all!

Why do I need a Droid X?

Because my middle-aged eyes love the larger screen and I NEED that 24-bit color. Plus I've just about worn out my Eris (and it's just about worn out its welcome)...

I'd say the phone is definitely one of the hottest of the year because it simply raises the bar for ALL other devices, Android or otherwise. I don't foresee any other 1 ghz processor phones being released that can offer what Droid X does. This is one piece of hardware that could probably market itself! My best guess is that the Droid X will do extremely well (based on availablity) until the new wave of 1.5 ghz devices start to spring up. Congratulations Motorola and Big Red, you've done it again!

Hottest Phone of the year

One big reason why the Droid X is the hottest phone of the year is that you do not have to use duct tape to be able to get a signal.

Other than that, the power of the processor, the screen size and Froyo (coming soon) all add up to one big win!

Oh!! To have a Droid X think of the possibilites, streaming youtube videos to my hdtv and sticking it to my cable company by cancelling there over priced service! Showing off my flashy slate of awesomeness to jealous friends everywhere I go. making anyone who owns the iphone cry rotten apples when they see the size of my dominant screen. Hd recordings that I can share with my family and watch on my hdtv it shall bring tears to the eyes of angels! Putting that 1ghz to work and leaving iphone with streaks in it's underwear. Waking up to that flashy alarm clock mode when I buy the dock to see refreshing clarity in hdmi. All will be in awe of my Excaliberesque DROID X!!! I would appreciate this phone like no other. Droid does all the way!!!

The screensize and processor, along with the expected good battery life and call quality are the top reasons it's going to be an awesome phone. Plus, it'll be my first Android phone and my first smartphone. I'll be ditching my 4-yr old LG 8600. So I can't wait!
