Even assuming that it's someone currently connected to your router, there's no way to find out who owns it. Only the manufacturer would have the serial number (that's what 8979f31 is), possibly the carrier, but neither one would look it up for you. (They can't - their databases aren't set up with serial number as a key - there would be no reason for that. And a non-indexed search through a few million devices, even on a supercomputer, could take a week or more, typing their computer in knots.)I deleted it but just curious as to how to find out who this device belongs to
