Android Messages and iMessage reactions

So it looks like I can only react to texts but not images. I can react to a text msg that also includes an image, just not an image sent alone w/o any text. Google's not perfect, but that's a better choice than sending the stupid "loved an image" text. And I'm sure the challenge with images is also why Google doesn't show an iPhone sent reaction on images like they show on text msgs. It's probably not clear which image was reacted to. Well, that's another thing RCS support would resolve, though obviously not as important as security.

That is kind of funny. That situation (iPhone users getting odd "reacted to" SMS messages) was almost speculated about many weeks/months ago in some threads here in AC. Wonder how annoyed iPhone users will be with the tables now turned? Unfortunately, I assume it will still be viewed as problem created by Android.

For me, this non-beta version of the Google Messages App doesn't yet have it.
