Android System battery drain

Ok -- so it seems that the main issue is still the poor cell signal at work. Even if you're using wi-fi at work, the poor cell signal will still contribute to drain. I'm not sure if wi-fi calling would make this any better -- I experience the same problem at my workplace, and I don't think turning on wi-fi calling helps that much (although the wi-fi at my work also kinda stinks).

It appears something won't let my phone sleep. Wonder what.

A massive battery drop without actively using the phone is usually caused by badly coded apps. Android allows running applications in the background - which may also be active when the phone sits on a table with its screen turned off. Depending on the app's permissions they may also access your phone's internet (either via cellular network or Wi-Fi) which, most of the time, is the primary reason for high battery consumption.

That awake time doesn't seem unusual, considering the time on battery has been at least 6 hrs.

I'm not sure there's a fix for this, since it probably isn't technically a glitch. This is the kind of behavior I've been seeing on my Nexus 6P for the whole time I've had it.

Get wakelock detector lite from the playstore. Don't grant it permission through the chrome app instead give it permission through a command prompt with adb so it will stick through a restart. Charge to 90% and let it sit for awhile then check the wakelocks.
