I'm not sure how to get into safemode. I should say that this only happens with that Samsung Global Goals screen while charging. Every other time they're not there.

With Android 12 update (and UI 4.0), I am finding all the notifications I had set to silent now have permission to alert with sound. A major pain, because many of these apps break down notification permissions into subcategories so every one must be reset.

I am being forced to update to Android 12 and I really don't want to until the bugs have been worked out of it. I have read too many bad reviews. Unfortunately I only have 9 delays left that I can push it forward, as I don't see, and haven't found any way to stop the process. So question 1 is, does anyone know how to stop the forced updated once its being pushed along?

Second question. I have always removed, or at least unmounted my sd card as a precaution when updating my phones, in case of accidental deletion, which has happened to me in the past. Does anyone else do this, and is it still recommended or not?

Thanks

Yeah it's best to safely unmount just in case .

Hi, as far as your second question, I still remove my SD card on major updates. I'm not sure if it's recommended as it once was, but I like to live by "Better Safe Than Sorry". If you store the ringtones & notification sounds on your SD card you may have to set them up again. I finally had enough of that nonsense & I moved all my ringtones & notification media to the internal designated folders.
:)
