related question: my bionic is root and tethered. let say i activate and use my new s3 next month when it arrives and no rooting/tethering will be available for the s3 yet, will i be able to temperary go back to my bionic to use the tethering feature of it for a brief moment? how? thanks.

So i just got my Bionic, it works perfectly. After many years of gadget lovin money wastage, I learned not to buy the latest and greatest - unless it's made by Apple. I would suggest anyone wanting the newest batch of phones wait till Christmas, and let some other guy alpha test it for the next 6 months.

I agree. I just got my bionic a little less than a month ago. I like to see the new phones coming out, but I don't feel the need to run out and get the latest and greatest. It makes more sense for me to let it come down in price a bit and let the kinks get worked out before I jump in.

Bionic'd from my tapatalk.

The update to ICS makes the Bionic feel like a completely different phone, IMO.

I can probably go another year with it.
