Anybodys Pixel running Hotter then Normal?

I do not know about you guys, but my Pixel XL has been running hot a lot. It runs hotter them my Galaxy Note 7 ever ran and then it cools down. one time it got up to 118 degrees. That is the highest i noticed. Have you guys noticed warmer temps on your Pixel?

Mine only ever gets slightly warm, and that is while charging or after a VR Daydream Headset session. With all other operations it says pretty well room temperature or even cool to the touch. If yours is actually getting hot, that sounds like something is wrong. Are you doing anything in particular when you notice it spike up to 118F?

What're you doing when it does this? I only notice it get warmer / hot when charging and sitting on a bed or something. Otherwise it stays pretty cool -- even when streaming at full brightness for HD videos over LTE.

I haven't noticed much warmth. Certainly nothing that made me think, gee that's warm. My old gnex would melt steel.

It will get warm while charging because that's what Lithium batteries do, but nothing that should stand out. It should under no circumstances get hot, but everyone's definition might be a little different. After an hour or so of browsing or video watching my phone is warm at best, I don't think anyone would classify it as hot. If I remember tonight I'll charge it and measure it with my temperature gun.

It was the Ice wolf theme I put on my phone. Although I was not using it it was still running in the background.
