I've decided to let mine go...I'm pretty excited for the Desire Eye on Friday...Posted it up on Swappa...Something about the device, maybe just the UI, I couldn't fall in love with, love the color and look of the device...The Orange Z3C matches my car! I'd still like to know the software version / customization when those who ordered from Sony get theirs...

USA Charger or euro charger with USA adapter in the box?

US charger..no adapter. No Euro charger. LTE symbol in the status bar. US language at the top of choices, (this was not on the euro model).Only other bloat I see is a movie app called Crackle. Don't remember seeing this on the Euro model but could be wrong. Same Sony bloat which is not bad about 7-8 apps and I'll disable most. Where is the firmware or software info you need?

That is the same as the orange version I got from Techno Trading House...If anyone is looking for one, mine is available, mint condition. Now I am curious to see what the version from Sony Direct is.

Thanks for the info, I'm surprised that there wasn't an updated version of the software for the US release yet especially considering the time before the actual release of the phone. Mine I imported from GB to use in the US and it has Build number 23.0.A.2.105 and the Baseband is the same except the last number is a 9 instead of a 5.

Just curious, what would the really need to change on the software side? I could see maybe radios or something but it should be the same otherwise no?

I really don't know what the change was, when I first turned my phone on it showed an update available but I don't think it was very big. I would be interested to see if someone had a UK model and a US model side by side and ran a speed test/signal comparison to see if there was any radio optimization for the US model.

Bnjf, can you please tell us the manufacturing date code that's on the little white pullout tab in the SIM card compartment? Should be 14Wxx where xx is the week of the year it was built.

My box says SI 1288-3890.4 2G/3G/LTE which is different from Bnjf's. There is definitely something different but I can't figure out what it is just yet because my "About Phone" has all the same exact information as him. They should be identical.
