Was wondering why so much dislike for the iPhone on this thread then realized it's in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 forum![]()
Yeah, the OP was kinda like walking into a biker bar and asking who was considering buying the new Tesla Model3
I switch back and forth between android and iPhone. What's sad is I been using the LG G6 for the last 3 months. Great phone but started having lag so switched my SIM card to my back up iPhone 6 Plus phone, close to 2 yrs old. And the iPhone runs as smooth if not more smooth than the LG g6. Apps in general are smoother and better optimized on the iOS like social media apps and even TapaTalk
I'm not an Apple fanboy and not hating on android just shocks me how a 2 year old, 2 generation old iPhone runs as smooth or better than a 3-4 month old flagship android
YMMV, I have an old Note 3 that I am still using for most of my apps and web surfing while I switch over to the Note 8. I would not say that is an iOS vs Android issue necessarily; you were close to making a blanket statement sound like you were painting all phones with a broad brush.
Anyways I almost preordered a Note 8, but now more interested in the iPhone 8
Which is fine. There are a lot of people interested in these new phones that, imho, are not really interesting in the Note series for its true strengths. If you are not an S-Pen fan then there are a lot of other choices for you to meet or exceed your needs.
And btw if you know how you can play most emulators and do almost the same thing on iPhone as on android. In fact was just playing some emulators on my iPhone with the same controller I was using on my LG G6. Just gotta know how. And my iPhone is NOT jail broken![]()
Good to know, but here you are sounding a little defensive about others comments in an Android, Samsung, Galaxy Note thread ... where most fanboys here are going to show little interest in the iPhone if it doesn't have the S-Pen.
Personally I look forward to seeing what Apple announces because every new release pushes the state of the art further, even if I will only use it to check off what I can do now with the Note 8, or what I might like to see in the next version.
