Anyone Getting the "Itch"

I don't plan on considering anything else at least until the Note 9 comes out. The Note 8 was the first time since the Note 4 that I felt that everything I wanted was here... I went through the GS6, GS7edge, GS8plus (still have them all) and now that I feel they got it all right with the Note 8, I don't have a desire for the GS9plus. I had been going back and forth and am very happy with the Note 8. Would love a 128GB version with stereo speakers, though.

I'm not really excited about the Note9 but I am excited for the NoteX. I really hope they make it foldable. Just another reason I should keep my Note8 for another year.

I hate to say it - if they make it foldable, then it might force me back to the S series because all the renditions I've ever seen make it appear to be bulky which I really would not want. I also don't want to have to open my phone up to use it.

Lol nope never been more pleased with any phone. Now I have held a few of my coworkers newer iPhones, I like the weight of them but never ever consider owning one.

Just read it. It's a lot of little things and a few big things that keep me away from the iphone now. The main thing is that I love using my Note8 in every way. I use my s-pen the majority of the time. Not because it's more convenient or more efficient, but because I like it. And I love all the features that come with it. It's just my cup of tea.

because i have not tried the pixel 2 or the mate 10 pro. i will keep the iphone for sure but want to try something else. i get bored with phones after a while and even though it meets my needs all phone guys can attest that you always wanna try something newer than what you have

This is the story of my life lol. All going well I'll be switching from my Note 8 to the Mate 10 Pro tomorrow. If it's out of stock in store I'll be paying a little more and getting the Pixel 2 XL. I'll be happy with either

Titanium Grey. I'm kinda boring when it comes to phone colours and usually go for black/space grey etc.
If I went Pixel I'd definitely be getting the Panda one though. Love the colours of that. I might even get the white with black camera strip skin for the Mate 10 Pro to recreate it

I tested the blue Mate 10 Pro out for work for a week. It is a stunning color. Although it feels quite slippy and once you out it in the enclosed case, you lose a little bit of that beauty but it is the same with pretty much every device

Deliberately put myself in a yearly note upgrade program to stop switching so much.
Don't regret it at all. Went S8 to the N8. The note is a beast.

My wife is due a new device shortly though, she might get a S9+ whether she wants one or not.

I think I'll be taking a holiday from AC during the launch of the S9's just to make sure I don't get drawn in to it. The S9+ looks great but definitely not enough difference from the N8 to warrant a switch. I'll defo miss my S-Pen when I jump this week I know that much

Lol I was thinking the same. It looks beautiful for sure. I hope the note 9 looks similar which it most likely will. I absolutely love the note 8 and I switched a month or so ago and just returned. I liked it that much I bought it a second time. Lol. I'll try my best to pass on the s9 and get the note 9.
