LOL, no. I would probably never use the stupid thing anyway. I guess the Note is marketed towards power users who want productivity. The s9 and stuff like I mentioned is geared towards the younger iphone user types who text a lot.

Not really. I can tell you I'm closer to 40 now. As all my friends. We all use emojis and gif and memes all day long. We have a large group thread that is normally non stop and we would use it all the time. It's not about being for younger people or appearing immature. It's just about having fun. So while I see most people say it looks odd or is weird I don't and a promise none of my friends would either. It's just something to have fun with.

And personally I would find the new emojis more useful to me than the spen. I would use them more for sure. Although the spen is useful I use the spen less. For others I totally get that they wouldn't use the ar emojis and find more use of the spen.

Just for me personally I would use it more. And in the fall I'll get the note 9 which will have both. Lol.

I'm a little over 40 and I use some emojis, take a TONof photos, but also use it a lot for work. I will give it a serious test drive and see how it performs next to my Note 8.

One of the things I have noticed about myself is that the more I participate on the smartphone forums and watch review videos of smartphones on YouTube the greater that itch grows. Seeing all the new smartphone tech released can cause an unnecessary curiosity to try something new.

This 1000x. I just got two Note 8s instead of one Note 8 and one S9+. The forums got me almost dangerously close to getting an S9+ but I knew I'd rather do two 8's for now. These forums are great but they can be hard one's purse.

This x10000000%. I have literally watched every single 'iPhone X Vs Note 8' video on YouTube and every time I open the damn app, it flips me the other way. Lol.

And now, seeing I can get a Note outright for $550, it's not being made any easier ??????

Well, I can't justify having both a Space Grey and a Silver iPhone X, a Mate 9, a Black Note 8, and an Orchid Grey Note 8. ...yet here we are. At least the Androids are all set up differently.

Spending a lot of time today with my Note 8 and I have to say I am not able to let go of this smartphone. Some of the features I was reminded that I love are:
LED notification
split screen apps
various performance modes
camera
write on PDF
download boost
Youtube in 1440p
Using s-pen to preview
cloud storage

I would love to try an S9+ mainly for the camera bu NO WAY would I sell one of my notes and have to put money on top to get one, I'll do that when note 9 comes out instead

That's close to $5,000 USD in phones. With all do respect, that's insane.
