Anyone switching back to iPhone?

I don't really think I prefer either. To me Apple offers the more polished apps and ecosystem I prefer and Android offers more hardware choices and customization. I like to switch. While I have 2 iPhones and 2 iPads right now I'm seriously considering adding an android phone to the mix. I can't justify it but you only live once.

Yeah nothing wrong with that :). I just like how I can access my ecosystem via the Web for everything.. From my calendar / contacts, to my reminders & email, then my music streaming. That's my favorite thing about it.

I may just be unlucky when it comes to Android but I am tired of dealing with Android phones that do not preform the way they are supposed to preform. I've gone through several in the past couple of years and they all had some problem or another. I had a great honeymoon period with the Moto X but it started to restart by itself, became slow and laggy and just stopped being what it was for the first 2-3 months. And that was after doing several total resets and deleting apps and not using this and not using that and just devoting too much time to making sure the phone was being treated like a baby. You shouldn't have to mess around so much with your phone in order to have it perform as advertised. You shouldn't need to get on the internet to figure out problems constantly. I haven't had to do that with iPhone. Just use it and forget all the useless customizations and waiting for updates as if they actually do anything better than the previous update.

But that is part of the android experience and many find it entertaining. I tend to, as well, for a little while. ...but, basically, I felt the same as you, I just wanted it to simply work so I went iOS. ...and then, I discovered the jailbreak....

Exactly my experience with the Motorola Droid X, which is why I will never purchase another Motorola product

I guess I should knock on some wood because with my wife and I we've had the 2 S3's, an S4 and now the Note 3 for my self and have had zero problems. On the other hand we had our fair share of problems with the 4 and 4s which is why we switched.

I think power users prefer to use Android, while seamless integration users prefer IOS. Both have their merits and drawbacks. I have the Note 3 because I prefer to tinker and change things.

And the big screen. 😃
I love iOS as well.

While I'm sure that I would not dislike a bigger screen as I've had plenty of them I kinda like having a 4" screen on my phone. If I do want a bigger screen for media consumption or whatever I have my iPad Mini LTE and Air LTE but I totally understand that some people don't want multiple devices.

I'm a bit confused as to why there are iPhone users in an android forum :/

They/we offer a different perspective. Just as there are Android users on iPhone forums.

My wife has a 5s so I do use it occasionally but my main device is the note 3.

I use both, but lately my iPhone 5 has been freezing at inopportune times and I'm bored with it. I think it's an Apple conspiracy to force you to upgrade after a year. It spends most of the time unused now

Well all I can say is I'm sorry if I offended anyone it's just I was looking through the comments and it said sent from iPhone 5s and it made me question it, anyway I'm not bothered if your on iPhone or Android I'm glad you all come to Android Central :)
