Well l wasn't really believing the 505 thing, but it happened to my AT&T H810 this yesterday. My replacement comes tomorrow. It just locked up and that was all she wrote.

I placed the order at 11:30AM yesterday (Eastern Time) and it wasn't picked up until 8PM last night in Ft. Worth. I should be receiving by tomorrow.I live in the Dallas area, but I was in Shreveport, LA when it died (yesterday). They had a service repair center that the AT&T retail store sent me to. They said I could expedite for $14.95. I was hoping that by expediting, I would get it today, but I guess that was just wishful thinking. In the end I paid $14.95 for them the FEDEX the package across town. I am not sure I gained anything.
My 505 is still going strong, ATT H810.
Purchased in July, 2015.
Upgraded to MM, no reset.
SD card and second battery are all good.
True, it is a hardware issue. It has nothing to do with the upgrade. It's a hardware issue. Mine died in my pocket a few days after the update.. Phone was minding its own business until I went to look at it.

True, it is a hardware issue.
However, during the MM upgrade the phone got warmer than it ever has before. I placed it on a bag of frozen vegetables until it was finished.
They are hoping it would last until the warranty is over and they wouldn't have to worry about it.Those of you who are getting back 505s and the like probably shouldn't have to worry. Since LG knows what the problem is now they should be fixed.
