Anyone's Samsung.com Order Ship yet?

Where did you go to see that your order was preparing order for shipment? The usual order status page on Samsung.com, or somewhere else?

Thanks!

Alex

Main Samsung site, logged in under my account (set-up some years ago) then clicked-on Orders under their little icon representing me; upper r/h corner. It is the only thing I have pending at this time. Best wishes.

*my order's still sitting there; somewhere in the world it's November 18th

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I didn't associate that order with my true Samsung login so I am stuck with the generic order lookup. Not much information given there.

Hope you receive yours tomorrow!!

Many thanks. I'll check back in once it's in my mitts; offer my initial impressions.

Waiting on my US order as well. It's been saying "Preparing Order for Shipment" for the past few days. I ordered it overnight shipping, so we'll see when it actually ships. Hopefully tomorrow. Just got in my Barton watch bands today from Amazon. Can't wait!

I called again because I couldn't see my order. Their customer service is terrible. The gentleman that helped me sounded lost. He said my order is still being processed. I asked when the eta would be and he said he has no idea. He also said there was no official release date for the gear s3 so it could be a while. I'm going to wait until next week then I cancel everything.

After reading these and similar posts, I'm glad I decided to go with an S2 instead of wait for an unknown time for the s3 frontier. You would think after the disaster that was the Note 7 Samsung would improve "their game". Is this a sign of how things are going to continue with Samsung?

Same here. I didn't use my Samsung login. Getting order status has been a little frustrating.

I pre ordered the frontier on the 5th in uk. Still showing waiting for stock.
The only model available to buy today is the classic.

Been watching this thread for the past few days and glad to see that other people are in the same boat as me....

I ordered mine on the 9th November, never received my email confirmation, after getting in contact with the phone support they advised that everything had gone through on their end correctly but they was having system issues with emailing confirmations ( I did not have a Samsung shop account; nor did I wisely take a screenshot of the checkout screen).
I sent a email to the shop support team to see what response I would get from them and that was pretty much the same, luckily they was able to give me a link to track my order as I wasn't able to gain access to the "Track Your Order" page.

About 3/5 days since pre-ordering I had a mark against my bank account for the funds, after that this isn't present anymore.

As it stands on my tracking site, my status is "Pre-Ordered" then "Waiting for Stock", I have also been in contact with the Facebook Page, who have stated when asked about the stock update on the Gear S3 Frontier edition "As soon as there's an update on this, we'll let you know. Do keep an eye out! ^AM"

So very promising.........

Thus far I've received no notice of shipment. The S3 Frontier was not listed as backordered at the time I made my purchase. On another note the money was withdrawn from my account on the day I 'bought' the Frontier; two days later the money was back in my account. I'm not sure what this portends but I feel that they were making sure that I was 'on-the-hook' against some nebulously vague future delivery date.

Wow.. I learned my lesson, I'll never order from Samsung directly again. It's such a poor experience and takes away from being a loyal customer that pre-orders the product. It's hilarious that customers who didn't "pre-order" will get theirs before us. I thought was the purpose of pre-ordering..

I'm taking the philosophical approach this time. I'll wait; patiently if required. I chose the S3 Frontier after learning the there was no imminent release of a 3rd Gen Moto 360. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised in a week or so. I hope that you can land one sooner rather than later.

Are you serious?
You reading posts from a bunch of 1st world, early adopters whining about how many hours until their latest toy arrives because they want to be the first one in their city to get it... And there's anything wrong with that, it reminds me of sleepless nights I used to have at Christmas time when I was a kid. But keep it in perspective: this is product launch, it will ultimately not be in short supply. If you can wait 3 or 4 weeks, you'll be able to walk into any of several stores and walk out with an S3.

I can see why you think this, but there's more to just wanting to be the first (although that's why we pre-ordered it, because we are excited for the product). I think that a lot of people, including myself, are more concerned that their cards have been charged and they've yet to receive any notification about when they'll receive their product. Also, the lack of communication and knowledge of their own staff concerns people. I myself purchased not just a gear s3 frontier, but a smartthings kit as well. That's close to $600 that's been charged, but I've yet to receive any idea of when I'll get what I purchased.

If Samsung was on ebay they would be banned.

Sounds exactly the same as what I've had happen so far, even down the the charge at the bank. So glad it's not just me not receiving emails. I emailed the store 2 days ago but haven't heard anything yet. I might try calling tonight and see if I can get a definitive answer.

I don't mind if it's going to be longer than expected (its not life or death, just another gadget) , but I would just like to know.

Customer service says mine will be shipped today. It wasn't said in a way that inspires confidence. We'll see...

Even though I ordered earlier in the week, I was checking out the Samsung site last night. It said early December shipping if you select the model you want and add it to cart. So who knows. Mine still says "Preparing Order for Shipment" and my account is still charged. We shall see. If I don't get mine by the 20th, I'm gonna ask for my $50 off!

Am I serious? Yes I'm serious. But I'm not some whiney 1st worlder is who pouting because I didn't get my toy first. I pointing out that the fumbling of a launch that has been described here is not a reassuring sign, esp when it is from a company whose last launch blew up in their face, literally. I think consumers, myself included, would be more confident in Samsung if they could at least have solid, reliable information. If it is delayed, it's delayed, just come out with it and give a time when it will be available. Either way, I'm happy with my s2 and, if I upgrade to a s3 sometime, it won't be a launch one which could blow up! :D

Early adopters whining? You are so way off. It's not that we're whining. It's the fact that Samsung, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc doesn't seem to have a damn clue as to what the hell is going on. They never should've announced a release date. If no one gets the Gear S3 soon I'm sure a lot of people will cancel their orders and Samsung and all of these companies will take a hit. Samsung prides themselves on their products but considering the Note 7 disaster and now this I'm not so sure that Samsung is a reliable company anymore. If you announce a release date for a product then that's when the product should be available. Samsung should have at least warned customers that this was going to happen or at least let everyone know what is going on. Guess Samsung didn't learn from the Note 7 disaster.
