Apple allowing new lines with unlimited?

I have a nationwide plan and I'm not seeing an option for unlimited data I'm also not able to click on the blue arrow with out choosing one of the more everything plans/it's not taking me to a different screen. Maybe I'm missing a step.
Tried it using puffin browser and chrome.

It's actually very easy to get a new unlimited line if you have a nationwide plan:

1.) Select the iPhone that you want
2.) Under Existing Customer select "add a new line"
3.) Provide your main wireless number, zip code, and last 4 of your social security number
4.) Now select your current plan by selecting the dial above your shared minutes and hitting continue

This should bring you to the "choose data" section. Select the blue arrow to the right of the 10 GB plan. The last plan should say "Unlimited iPhone". This plan will give you an unlimited data on that line. Like post #40 says, you'll get a new number, but you can always move your old one to the new line via Verizon's website after you active that new phone.

If you just wanted a brand new unlimited data plan, but didn't care for an iPhone, just by an 8 GB iPhone 5c on contract. That phone is free, but you can still select the unlimited data by doing the steps I described above.

Thanks for explaining it but I think my issue is that I'm on a single plan not a talk and share plan. When I'm prompted to choose a data limit it just goes up to 10gb no unlimited I phone pops up.

Is it actually possible to upgrade from a talk and text plan on Verizon to a new 2 year contract with an iPhone 6 (will any one work?) with unlimited data, and will that include talk and text?

Unfortunately not. The "glitch" only works when going through apples Website and adding a new line to an existing Family Plan.

I sent you a PM.

Has anyone on this forum done this? Will the included sim mess up the unlimited data like the best buy method does? Is it safe to do in store pickup since it's on a new line?

Hmm, so I'm on a family plan right now. I should be able to do this, sell the iPhone on Swappa and buy an Android phone off of Swappa and swap SIMs, right?

You have to activate it with the sim it comes with. People have done both.

I would highly recommend not picking it up in store -- I would have it shipped to you. If a rep sees that they will most likely try and not give that to you .. since they're not supposed to.

It is pickup at am apple store. Plenty of people are picking them up and activating them.

Correct. That would be one option to getting a new unlimited line.

So..., can I activate the SIM in the iPhone then take it to the Verizon store, take the SIM out and put it in say a G2 and I'll keep the Unlimited Data and everything will function properly?

I wouldn't recommend doing that in a Verizon store, but you are correct. The SIM from the new iPhone will be attached to an unlimited plan.

Do you already own the g2? Why would you need to go to the store?

Okay, so once I swap SIMs I don't need to talk to Verizon or anything?

No, but if this works out I'd probably get one, or maybe a G3 - possibly a DNA if that takes nano SIM, which I don't think it does. I was under the impression that after swapping SIMs you had to have a Verizon rep. switch something on your account to show a different phone. Am I wrong on this?

You can just swap the sim. No need to see a Verizon rep.

You can take the nano sim put it in an adapter and use it in any of those phones. I believe the only android phones that take a nano are the recent Motorola devices.

Oh, okay. Thanks.

Is there a post on those macrumors links how to go through the process of adding a line and such like?
