From my experience, you have it backwards. I normally see Unlocked get it first, then the carriers will start releasing.

I am T-Mobile locked and still do not have it.

I don't know I've done unlocked for years and it seems Verizon locked has month after month always gotten it Weekes before my Unlocked had gotten it. I can almost always plan on my unlocked getting it the end of the month

Yeah, Verizon is a different beast. Anytime someone says "typically, the carriers..." means everyone but Verizon.

Honestly, it's hit and miss with any and all of them. There is no rhyme or reason to why they do what they do, but they do it, for the most part.

Nothing so far for US Unlocked on Verizon

I got an update for my phone on Verizon the other day but it didn't say what features it was for other then security update. when i clicked for more info the Verizon update page didn't have the newest one listed. I have to check my camera version.
