Are you gonna buy a pixel or the 3 XL

If what Google has to offer in the Pixel 3 XL 64 gb phone cost 1000.00 or higher.
It may push me into the note 9 which by is a 128gb phone with 6 gb ran and a SD card.
And Samsung is offering buy one note 9 and get one free.

Hard to turn down.

Dang, I may have to get the regular Pixel 3 instead of the XL. These price leaks are getting me a little bummed. I really hope they are all wrong. I also hope I get excellent trade in value for my Pixel 2 XL 64gb Stormtrooper.

Even with all the leaks I find myself still really jazzed about the event on Tuesday.

I'll get the Pixel 3 XL if the leaks are inaccurate, but I don't see how they could not be since we've been seeing them for the last four months.

I don't care about the notch uproar but 6+ inch phones are too big for me. But, the Pixel 3 is looking pretty enticing... Pending a good camera review, this might be my next phone...

I see no reason for the camera to less than the prior Pixels

If I indeed go with a Pixel next time around, I may grab the 3 next year, when the 4 is out. Or I may jump to LG, OnePlus, or Moto. I like trying out different manufacturers each time I upgrade; but I feel "stuck" on the Pixels now (which isn't a bad thing!).

I can't give up the camera. The closest I can get to the Pixel that works on Verizon is iPhone or Samsung. I think I would go iPhone before Samsung

I think the 5.5 inch screen on the pixel 3 is the perfect size...... I wouldn't be surprised if it outsells it's huge notched big brother ;-)

I will get the smaller 3 personally IF the camera improvements are worth it. The hardware is already just about boring with no physical versatility so everything will be basically software based. Hopefully Google matches Apple at least with stereo recording because last year's Pixels were pretty much trash in audio recording. Interested to see how far AI will take them based off leaks of them using yet another 12.2mp sensor at f/1.8. I was hoping for a little wider lens than that but it's Google. They know what they're doing. I just hope they're doing enough to make me want to settle down with one lens compared to other dual lens options, mainly the V30 for me. Size wise though the Pixel 3 is perfecto.

On P3 day my P2XL is making it hard for me to still love it when it has done that black screen on call thing again. Phone on speaker and screen goes black as soon as call is setup. Screen black throughout call. Have to tell other party to hang up. Screen remains black. No response from fps or power button.

In the end had to hold power button for about 30 seconds, let go and phone restarts. This has been the only bug I have had with my phone all year, but it has happened quite a lot of times. But it is an intermittent fault.

What will today bring, although I am tied to my phone for another 13 months.

I agree with you. The "alleged" price increases may make the little guy the big guy. Big guy in sales that is.

+/- 6 hours til "3 Time"

After a year of baby pixel 2 I feel I need more battery, whether it is just general degradation or Android 9 Pie but I just can't get a full day out of it now.

I know the new pixel 3 has more juice but how will it hold up against a bigger screen?

Will just wait for the reviews to drop them decide
