Good god, no. I'm not paying $999 for a device that only has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and almost a year-old processor.
The processor is current
The processor came out almost 8 months ago with the S9.
Pre ordered The Pixel 3 XL in the 64gb Unlocked model.
Got the care insurance too.
Don't have a FI account and I'm only buying 1 phone.
Guess I will have to wait and see how long it takes to get here.
I know I will not be home next monday or tuesday.
Will be at the Hospital.
Pixel 3 with 64GB and Pixel Care $978 dollars, SMH. This is the first time I did not preorder a google phone. I must be getting old or something. I was holding out hope, but looks like the iPhone Xr is where my dollars are going........

So it's acceptable for the Note 9 which was released not long ago but not the Pixel?
I hear ya. I pre-ordered the P3 64GB without Pixel care. That $978 didn't feel right. And now rethinking a $799 base price isn't sitting well.
Thanks for reminding me. I just want back and looked at it.They gave you a projected date
Also how is that Samsung of all people released phones with the most sensible pricing in the Galaxy S9 and S9+? I feel like $800 is a little too much for the base model seeing as how they could be using most of the same camera hardware from last year anyway. No mention of a new sensor used or anything like that. Same f/1.8 aperture. I don't know if I can get with that. If they have stereo recording probably but without that I'll get the V30 and throw on the Google camera mod for HDR+ an portrait mode.
