Are You Happy With Your Nexus 6?

I like mine thus far. Just think the battery is draining somewhat faster than anticipated. 25 minutes of SiriusXM radio, and reading Android Central, and it down to 94%. Not to worried, since I know it takes some time to calibrate. My LG G3 seemed much better.

Which case are you using? How do you like it so far?

I'm not sure...it's the only one they had at the Sprint store. It is clear, and has rubber that is placed around the edge, and then inserted into the clear plastic casing. It also has a kick stand that only works in landscape, along with metal buttons over the power/volume.

I like it...though it's a little ugly....but everything is ugly compared to my M8. :)

I can check the specifics of the case when I get home.

That's the Case Mate clear case. They have the same one at the T-Mobile store.

Just got mine set up today. Love the feel/size/snappy response! Dislike no data and phone at the same time! Is this for real? My RAZR maxx did this! I am on Verizon and got mine from Google Play. Had to cut my Sim to fit. Verizon couldn't give me a Sim yet because the imed wasn't in the system yet. They put in a "request". Said it could take a few days. Guys had no idea about the nexus at the Verizon store . This could be a deal breaker. Before I unlock the boot loader and root I need to know voice and data will work simultaneously in the NEAR future. Real Issue here! Anyone have some insight?

Leave Verizon.

I am very pleased. This replaced my HTC One M8 and I have not looked back since. I know I can't speak for everyone, but I got used to the size in an hour. Makes my M8 feel like a tiny iPhone 5s. I use to swear I would never get a phablet but this is truly an awesome experience. I also almost physched myself out reading too many forums and reviews, but I ended up loving it.
Phone is super fast and Lollipop can hold its own against the manufacturer skins. Love the front facing speakers.
There are a few bugs here and there with the software that I'm sure will be squashed soon.

is that the same case as the Naked Tough Case with kickstand they are selling on Google Play?

Sorry for the late reply (I never get notified if someone quotes me).

I believe it is. If it isn't, it is very similar.

Must be a carrier thing because I'm on AT&T and I have voice and data working just fine.

THE INCREDIBLE shrinking Nexus 6! Been using it for a week now. At first I thought it was too big, but it has been shrinking steadily until now it seems normal.

It's always been possible with AT&T and GSM networks vs CDMA (Verizon) networks.. However I thought with LTE and voice you could do both... Verizon probably just has it blocked on the Nexus 6 like T-Mobile was blocking WiFi calling on any device not purchased directly from T-Mobile.. Although T-Mobile did say all Nexus 6 would get WiFi calling in January....

The size is much less of an issue than I expected, probably because so many reviews made it seem like you'd be carrying a tablet around.

I agree, when it arrived in the mail my first reaction was 'well this isn't as big as the reviews made it out to be'.

This may be my next phone. I have the "mini" version at the moment so I am good for a while. I am noticing that I am using my tablet less now that I have a larger phone. If I had the N6 would I need a tablet anymore?

It's Verizon. Newer phones only have one chip instead of two for calling, which means CDMA companies (Verizon and Sprint) can't do voice and data at the same time. Verizon has been releasing VoLTE for a few devices that allows for data and voice simultaneously...

I am liking mine. Minus the random rebooting mine does, though it seems like a bunch of people got that issue. This is my first phone that have a screen size this big. I jumped from a 4.7 inch (moto x 2013) to the Nexus 6, why not am big right? I found that at night sometimes I even turn off my computer and lay in bed and browse the net on my phone since the screen is good haha

Size is a personal thing. For me it doesn't feel as big as many reviewers have beaten to death. I've used the iPhone 6+, Note 4 and Xpheria Z Ultra, so the N6 doesn't feel too big to me.
