Thinking about getting 7 Pro, but never had Pixel before. How is this Tensor chip? I'm only familiar with Snapdragon on Galaxy. Also, how is the camera? Losing one lens from quad cam on Ultra if I go to 7 Pro which only has 3 lenses.

The first generation tensor was a hit or miss with connectivity among users ,the 2nd shouldn't be a issue but we don't know much . As for cameras the Samsung top tier has more telephoto zoom but Pixel with AI and software is hard to beat. Wait until more reviews and in customer hands before ordering?

Both new models support both esim and a physical (nano) sim.

I'm not doing it. I'm keeping my Pixel 5 for now. But that's a fairly generous trade-in.

BB says they'll do the transfer, but yeah, this is a concern. I need to do it myself. Any automated transfer doesn't do everything and do it right. 8 email accts, 7 Google Authenticator accts, 2FA w/Okta Verify & Duo Mobile, plus a bunch of other crap, those guys won't get it done right. I hope they're patient w/me to DIY, otherwise I'm getting a refund.

Curious, for those with P6 what features in P7 has you interested in upgrading?

VPN & face unlock would have been the two primary draws for me to go from the 6 to the 7. Coming from the 6 Pro, those plus the array of camera improvements (primarily wider wide-angle, macro mode, and improved zoom) were enough to get me to pull the trigger (though I wouldn't have done so had the trade-in value and promotions not been substantially more generous than I anticipated.

Knowing that BB is offering $480 in trade for the base model P6, I'd probably do it in a heartbeat for the $120. Or I'd consider making the jump from the 6 to the 7 Pro for the $420 difference, and get the $200 gift card making it $220 for a massive upgrade.
