What about the car dock? Does the Incredible (I'm calling it that because on the pre-order confirmation page I have it's referred to the Incredible, not DROID Incredible) fit into the N1's car dock?

I just fell in love with the way that car dock has the charger plugged into it. It seem's so (as Steve Jobs would say) "Revolutionary and Magical".

I just read all of these posts in a short time, and a lot of my questions were already answered by the time I reached this point, but I did come across one:

How does the actual screen width compare in the following picture:

My question on this refers to the two outside images that indicate a sound profile change able to be made from the lock screen. Is this able to be done on the Incredible's lock screen? Also (on a side note) Is it easy to change the wallpaper for the lock screen, it is possible to assign unique images for landscape and portrait and is it possible to assign unique images to the lock screen and the Today screen?

I have read a bit about nandroid whech seems to ne a backup app like SPB Backup for WM, but it also seems pretty complicated to use (I have never used Android OS before). Is it really that complicated or is it something that will make a lot more sense after using Android for a bit? (assuming the Incredible is rooted in the near future)

I've seen this asked looks like just once before, though no definite (real conformations) have been given yet.

Due to newer information coming out that the Incredible and Evo 4G will have different screens / sensors then past capacitive touch phones, are you able to use a stylus and "thin" gloves on the touchscreen as seen in this youtube video about the new screen technology that is supposed to be in these two new phones.

Hey guys I have an old outdated LG Voyager that interrupts me whenever I am using the browser or music player every time I get a text, email, ect. Now I know they advertise the MotoDroid as not interrupting you and rather "hiding" the notifications until you want to view them. Does the same apply to the Incredible? My other question is does the Incredible run VZ Navigator or just Google Navigator as I heard that Google Nav is not as good as Vz Nav.

One quick question. I used 2 different Incredibles today at 2 VZW stores. I noticed that I couldn't find Google's News and Weather app/widget. Do you know if this is available for the Incredible, and if so, how do we find it?

Seriously..... how is the screen outside in bright sunlight? Can it not be used? even with settings set to max bright? can anyone that has had other smart phones (Nexus, iphone, blackberry, etc.) give me a comparison, and give me input !!! I live in Southern California where it is mostly sunny and bright ! I have an old Razor and thats about it.... I never hear iphone users complain about sun light. I have seen the droid in the sunlight. I have never seen a nexus in person and hear they have problems... Can anyone do a comparison with the phones next to each other.... Thank You !!

I would love to side a side by side comparison of the Incredible and another phone like a droid or iPhone or some other non AMOLED.

Will it work well on the dash of a car? Or is completly unusable if the sun is out.

Is the screen polarized?

I played with an Eris in the store and when I turned it sideways with my polarized sunglasses on the screen went black. I could only see the screen in portrait mode not in landscape.

That could be a real pain the butt when I'm wearing my sunglasses.

How does the screen accuracy stack up to other Android devices and the iphone? Why isn't every phone being put through the screen accuracy test like this one in every review?:

It is not only embarrassing that Android devices have this problem, it creates a frustrating sub-par user experience with Android devices. I had long known that the accuracy of the screen on my HTC Hero was seriously lacking (especially near the edges), but these test have really demonstrated that this is a problem even on the higher end devices thus far.

The only way to get HTC and others to step up with higher quality screens is to draw attention to it and shame them into it.

I know you already answered a "does it type in landscape" question. Sorry to ask again, but I use my calendar more than anything else. Does it type in landscape when you're in the calendar? The iphone will type in landscape in many applications...but NOT in the calendar.

POP 3 Signatures in Incredible

Does anyone know if we will be able to add personalized signautures to POP3 email accounts (other than Gmail) in the Incredible....Could not do so with the Droid...I hope that this is fixed...

I couldn't find this in this thread at least, but does anyone know how long Verizon is taking to ship pre-orders? If I ordered Monday morning, would I get it before the Thursday release? Oh, and do they charge State sales tax if you order online?
