AT&T: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Can one of you forum gurus find the post in another carrier forum with the fedex signature release form. I saw it twice earlier today, but now I can’t find it. I have used the search option, still couldn’t find it. Where did I see it earlier???? Still not sure if that’s what I need, but I am going to print and sign it in hopes they will leave it

If you have the tracking number, you can leave a note on your door for Fedex with the tracking number and advise OK to leave on porch, and then sign it.

I do have the tracking number, are you sure about this? I will do it if this is standard practice!

I saw that one when I googled it, but it has the “approved or denied” part on the bottom that needs a fedex representative signature, don’t know if that means this is a pre approval form or not

if anyone gets it or has it by now on AT&T just wanted to know if they swapped the OEM packaging for the ugly orange and Blue like they usually do?

Just type up a form big letters so FedEx see's it with Signature, Tracking info, and what you are requesting. And they will release it and take your note.

Ordered 8/26 Midnight Black (I'm in NJ).
Received text with FedEx overnight tracking #. As of 5:38 my time, it left the FedEx Facility in Fort Worth Texas. It's scheduled to arrive by 8pm tomorrow.

Lately AT&T hasn't been using their old ugly packaging. My S8+, S8 Active came in Samsung packaging. I believe they add their logo to it though.

I ordered an Orchid Grey on Saturday and just got my FedEx tracking number. I definitely wasn't expecting it that soon.

I didn't see anything that states I need a signature for my phone to be left if I'm not here? But either way I'll print and sign that for in case I'm not here. FedEx overnight is usually at my house before 10am anyway so we shall see. Not too worried about it being left if I'm not here, usually all delivery services place packages behind a small privacy fence in my front yard since I live on such a busy main road.

My roommate actually has his day off tomorrow so I suppose he could be here for it either way

I do it all the time. But it might depend on your neighborhood and/or FedEx driver.

I was thinking the same thing, since mine is coming FedEx as well. I printed a quick note with a signature & to leave the box. I work less than 10 mins from home so, you can bet I'm going to run all the lights once I get the delivery notification.

Guess so! I just canceled my Samsung preorder! Forget Samsung. I will just get the freebies ordered the other way instead of with the phone. Shows delivery tomorrow!
