AT&T Galaxy S3 - Can't bluetooth pair to Windows 8..

Has anyone successfully, and consistently been able to establish a bluetooth connection between your GS3 and Windows 8 machine? I get the confirmation code and it appears to pair and connect but the bluetooth icon never turns blue, and the "connection" only lasts 8-10 seconds and returns to a "not connected" state.

Tried reinstalling the S3 drivers several times as well as remove the device in the bluetooth window of the computer to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Me, too using USCC Galaxy S3.
Did the same acrobatics, got the same pairing and short-lived connection notification.
