KNOX is Samsung 's enterprise security app to make their products appealing to corporate entities. They have secured their phone to prevent rooting, unlocking bootloader and installing custom roms. If you have no desire to root your phone, it doesn't matter. If you think you want to root, at this moment, with KNOX installed, you are not able to root. It will probably be figured out eventually.

Thanks for explaining KNOX. I upgraded yesterday and haven't seen it anywhere and thought perhaps it was left out of my install. I think AT&T may have a newer build number out than the one I have?

Without sounding like a dummy, what I read means It's not possible for me at this moment to root my phone?
Also on my lock screen, It is showing my txt messages, anyway to get this off? Im browsing trying to figure out a solution but im still getting used to the new settings layout

I too really want to get rid of texts on the lock screen. Anybody?

Have you tried Messaging>Tap menu>Settings>Scroll to Notification Settings>Uncheck Preview Message. If it is not checked check it and back out them go back in and Uncheck it and back out again. All I can suggest. Good luck.

KNOX runs quietly in the background keeping watch over the device. If you upgraded to 4.3, you've got KNOX. KNOX will be a feature for all Samsung phones going forward. If you are a corporate admin overseeing several hundred company phones, KNOX is very important to maintain security within your mobile network.

I am experiencing the same problem. Not just notifications of pic downloads. All downloads.

I also have this issue. They aren't even in my downloads folder anymore.

I just cleared the list of finished downloads in the Downloads application, for both Internet & Other. Stopped the downloading of non-existent pictures right away.
Only really wanted to update to 4.3. for Dashclock! But may take the risk to flash to 4.4 CM 11 Beta 6 just for KitKat!

I did this. I hope it fixed my problem.

On the lock screen settings, you need to have Multiple widgets checked. Swipe the clock on the lock screen and then you should see the + to add a widget. Then you can add Dashclock and then move it to your main lockscreen page. It took me a little bit to figure it out.

I do not see an option to check multiple widget for the lock screen. Where is this? I have looked everywhere.

Does anyone know why the widgets sometimes come up and sometimes the lock screen just shows the clock? What triggers the widgets to come up?

Settings>my device>Screen lock swipe. It will be under that screen. If you have another security setting in place you have to go here first to edit the lock screen shortcuts and widgets. Hope that makes sense.

Got the update downloaded. Took 4.5 hours.
I have the download icon issue. I don't see a Downloads folder/icon in the app drawer. Anyone else? Or am I missing something.
One change I did notice. I restarted the phone (several times), and Swiftkey has stayed as the default keyboard!!

I cleared cache I. Download manager in app manager. That worked for a few minutes. Then I turned download mgr off. But I wasn't sure if I should leave it off. So I turned download mgr back on and just cleared the get notifications checkbox. The loop has not returned back in my notifications.

Lost all thumbnail pics in the music player. Tried unmounting and remounting the SD card, but no soap. Anyone else seen that?

Ok I would be careful transferring your apps to your SD card now. After transferring a half dozen I got the message that it would not transfer. Then my SD card crashed and now I have lost everything on my card. 1000 pics hours of music and all my transferred apps. Anyone know how to recover my data?
