AT&T LG G3 update (2/10/15) LOLLIPOP!

Thanks. That stopped the pop-ups on the lockscreen. But i still get hangouts message notification pop-ups when I'm on the home screen or in another app.

when i plugged my phone in, it just updated by itself:confused: damn! i wasn't even planning.

let's see what's going to happen with the battery life.

That was my first impression too... but after a day and i've rebooted a few times during the day having it reload... i find it runs smoother. as good as before if not a tad bit smoother but we'll see. but i notice google voice dicatation is slow. but that could be my data.

as first impression, i can clearly say it's more slower than 4.4.2. :-\

Anyone having issues with Wi-Fi? I can connect at home and local places, but not at my university. It worked perfectly before the update. Now it tries acquiring the ip address for a bit... Then eventually says something like "avoided poor internet connection".

Great, I can't use my knockcode at all. to get out of the lock screen I got to restart my phone. It doesn't even tell me I put the wrong code in. Plus the Google Play Services don't work as well.

Home screen stopped working now, woo -.-

No issues with anything. Google services went through fine. Performance is noticeably improved as others stated. Will see how battery life is tomorrow.

Got my update them did a factory reset. Seems a little laggy compared to before but I'll give it a few days.

I got the update and now it won't allow me to check the box for displaying weather conditions in the lock screen. That was something I loved.

Lock screen notifications SUCK! How do I get rid of them and keep the lock screen clean?

Stupid G3 auto updated overnight while plugged in. So much for waiting for bug fixes lol.

So Google play is fine and so is knock code. Only difference I see so far is notification drop down and on screen buttons. No lag as far as I can tell.

I did Not battery pull or factory reset.

Fell asleep last night in the chair, a few minutes after I woke up I pulled my phone from my holster and it was on the restart screen. It stayed there for quite a long time - gave me a scare thinking it may be dead - and finally started optimizing apps. I was planning on waiting for a bit before upgrading too. No problems so far, but I don't like having the update forced.

No problem doing the update but my calendar and contact sync is not working

The good news is I fully charged my phone before going to bed and when I got up this morning it was at 99 percent so updating to lollipop seems to have cured my overnight battery drain I was experiencing with kitkat. Now to see how it does with a full day of use. I have not done a factory reset as of yet. Hoping to avoid it.
