AT&T Note 9 Not Updating

Ok Mustang,

I downloaded the first two onto my SD card. The third one would not allow me to download it.

What did the 3rd one say for not able to download?

Mustang, I think he meant he downloaded to SD card but hasn't installed yet. I would guess he needs to rename 1st then recovery update then 2nd, correct?

He had the exact same problem. It had the same version of Android, security and everything. Download those first two files and update the security version. After installing the second update, it automatically started downloading Android 9 (Pie). Thank you very much man! They did not ask me at At & t to help and you did it! Thank you all!!

Go into recovery
Restart phone hold at the same time Bixby,volume up,power button
Now it show a menu recovery update sd card select find the file and tap on it and wait until it downloads

I downloaded the 1st update, and it completely restarted my phone. Now, I'm on security patch for November 1, 2018. Do I install the 2nd and 3rd updates the same way, and will it completely restart (wipe) the phone each time?

Do the 2nd one and then check for update manually..it shouldn't wipe the phone but if it does then proceed next step

I downloaded all three and I restarted after each download and manually checked the software update and it still says software is up to date and the software patch still says September 1 2018

You didn't reboot in recovery?
