Guys, all you should have to do to know when your phone ships is check your bank account. It should go from "hold" or "memo" to "purchase" right before it ships. That is what the nice lady at at&t told me today.

Guys, all you should have to do to know when your phone ships is check your bank account. It should go from "hold" or "memo" to "purchase" right before it ships. That is what the nice lady at at&t told me today.

I ordered mine through Premier over the phone and it was immediately deducted from my checking account. I don't know if it did that for all the premier folks or not. Also, I never received an email saying it was ordered. I think Jess said the same thing about her order.

I also have a premier account. That is what the lady told me at the store, and when I look at my account it is posted as a memo debit which means it hasn't gone through yet, but the money is no longer available in my balance. When it goes to ship that will change from memo to purchase. Did you look at the information of debit on your online banking or did you just check the balance. You have to check the info as the balance will show the amount already deducted.

You are totally right. Mine does still say pending. I guess I just assumed that it was like any debit and says pending until that night when it clears. Nope, mine is pending just like everyone's I guess. Poo! I guess I was hoping that if it cleared it would make it a little more "real".

I ordered on 14th, and the confirmation e-mail says so, but the order status site says 15th. No back-order, but "In Progress."

Not holding breath. I suppose it'll be "March 6th or earlier." If it surprises me, great. (Maybe it'll ship early because it's just the phone...no docks...wishful thinking, eh?)

I finally got an email this morning for the "attention" that was required for my online pre-order attempt.

Basically, it was my identity guard service that was running interference.

So I went into the store my pre-order is paid in full and, fwiw, the rep says that it COULD be in in the next couple of days. Not really holding my breath because he didn't really sound to assuring.

I ordered a second line and was put onto a Family Plan with no change in UNLIMITED data service (currently on iPhone 4). The additional line will cost a total of an extra $30/month.

The laptop dock was in the store and I got a hands on with that. No big deal since it was pretty much a brick without the phone. Looked a lot nicer in person than in the pics that I've seen.

So I'm officially OFFICIALLY waiting with baited breath like the rest of youz!

Just checked my order and the QTY BACK-ORDERED column is now "0". I checked it after I left the store and it WAS "1"s. Could something be brewing?

Both of my phone orders have never gone to back-ordered status, but then again I did the whole process at the store. Perhaps it changed because you went to the store?

I keep checking mine...and still nothing. I ordered just after midnight...so if they start shipping on a first come first served basis...I hope I am in the first batch shipped out. Can't wait to retire my Blackberry Storm.

A thought...if the rumor of a release on the 20th is true - then I would expect that means our phones would need to ship tomorrow so that we could have them by Saturday. So...if anything is going to happen it will most likely be in the next 24 hours.
