Attention Evo Owners - Is the phone too big?

If the there was an option to get an EVO the size of the incredible, prior to actually owning the EVO, I probably would have opted for the smaller size phone. having owned it for a month, the size is no problem. its nice and slim and easily fots in the pocket. It is also comfortable in the hand. Bottom line you cant beat the screen size for watching video and especially for surfing the web. You will love the size. For me, I don't think i could go back to a smaller screen.

I think it should come in two sizes. Girly size and I can actually type on it without nails or a stylus.

I'm right here comparing my Evo to my sister's iPhone 3GS and the Evo's footprint is barely bigger. It really makes better use of the front screen area.

Get it. Fits in the pocket just fine and I'm a girl. Once you use the bigger screen you will wonder how you ever survived without it.

When I first looked at the Evo, I thought why would anyone want that huge thing? Then my Palm Pre broke again. I wasn't going to go backwards on phones, so I figured I would give the Evo a shot, keeping the 30 day policy in mind. I love this phone. It is like going from a big screen tv back to a 19 inch when I look at other people's phones. It fits in most pockets and nicely in my hand. I say go for it, you have 30 days to decide.

The phone is not too big.

I love the size of the screen. It is awesome. And the phone is pretty thin so it makes up for it. Fits in my front pocket just fine.
I don't have a case though so it slips in and out very easily.

No it's not too big. It feels big and looks big but it not any bigger than an iPhone with a protector.

The phone is just about as wide as my old blackberry bold 9000 and is slightly taller. Its not that much of a diff in size for me. It fits better in pocket IMHO.

The phone is huge, its about as big a phone as I'd ever still accept. Any bigger would be a deal breaker.

But I like the screen so much that I don't mind.

I am with the rest on this one. It seems big at first but it grows on you quickly. I have small hands and it is great to have the extra screen size. Fits well in pant pocket too, that is where mine is all the time.
