This check just got a hands-on yesterday with an Epic. With a BETA Epic.
I can't even come up with a BS reason for them to make her do a hands-on with a beta handset if this phone was coming out next week. Hell, I can't imagine that it's even coming out this *month* if they're unable to offer the press a final-version handset. Hell, she's in New York (said so in the comments). You'd think that they would give press in New York access for a complete phone...
My thoughts? Samsung let them have a hands on, not Sprint. So Samsung has to call it a beta so they don't get into trouble with Sprint for giving out a phone that early for review. IMO.
