I redid my video (had to cut it under 15 minutes that youtube allows).. this is the same video i posted a few pages back just shortened. no worries, nothing important removed, just more dead time.
its also using the original root files from the OP, not the updated one..
YouTube - How to Root: HTC Thunderbolt One Click App
download and install HTC sync, there is a section on that in the OPI cannot get the program to recognize and show my phone. I just got the TB..Help
My Goal Today:
1) Do the new auto root process with MR1
2) put BAMF 2.0 beta 5 on it...and I think I'm ready to begin:
Files collected and ready
o auto root w/MR1 update downloaded from here.
o latest radio file (I am not in a 4G area but hope it was okay to download 1.13.605.7_CDMA_LTE_PG05IMG.zip
o contacts and bookmarks backed up
o current ROM backed up
o wiped clean 3x
Is there anything else before I continue? If not, from what I gather in reading, I now have to...
1) run the autoroot w/MR1, then access phone without setting up any accounts.
2) Connect USB cable and place radio file on root of the SD, then reboot so it will flash
3) Reboot and remove radio file from SD root
4) Boot into recovery mode and install BAMF 2.0-5 Remix ROM
so after yesterdays issue i rerooted and everything went fine, i deleted the pg file and moved in the one for gb, i then flashed dasbamf 2.0 and when rebooted flashed the radio file in, the phone booted in but all im getting from dasbamf is a partial ui of only a wallpaper, battery info and empty signal bars and nothing else to click or touch. the soft buttons dont do anything at all and i alredy tried re flashing radios as well as going into recovery without the sd so i could delete all data from cache, etc as well as fix permissions but nothing.... it's still only loading that. PLEASE HELP!!
I have run into this once before, try this: in the auto root folder remove PMSLEEP, make sure to save it somewhere first. then try to run the script
I did this but when it is pushing files it says that PMSLEEP is not recognized, but pushes the other files. However, it then displays my serial number and asks if i have a valid connection. Is this correct? It seems like it pushed the other files.
I tried putting PMSLEEP back on and running it again and it did the same thing where the cmd screen disappears when it's pushing files. Not sure what to do.
Later tonight ill screen share with you if that's ok

I just noticed something, some rooted apps, are saying I need busybox ,and my nand is not locked it will work. so I guess I am asking does this root not have busybox, and the nand unlocked ? I know its rooted becuz I have the superuser on it , and tb works as well as root explorer
to go titanium backup and hit the problems button and get the busybox update, it that doesnt work find that titanium backup folder, make a copy of busybox and move it to xbin... beyond that i dont know
ok I did that and it says root acess : OK( busybox 1.16.0 from app) ...............
but what about nand? and where is xbin?
