Uploading update

So how does one go about uploading the update file?

i have to imagine the file is saved as an apk file in your download folder. or you could search for it by plugging your phone into the computer and using windows explorer. then just host it somewhere online for free downloading.

I looked for the file already, it did download twice this morning but it is not there, maybe there is an issue with the orig. download. I try to pull it now and it won't pull......maybe Motorola removed it because of issues?

Update availability

Is the update available everywhere yet? I got a notification that I needed to update, but when I tried to do the system update, it told me my phone was up to date. I'm still running 2.3.15

Now that I have the new update from today how does that affect us in regards to Gingerbread?
When can we expect to see Gingerbread on the DX? Im ready now!

i guess motorola/VZW must have identified some kind of issue with the file and suspended it because it seems that the downloads are too random and no one has gotten it since this morning....

It came throw this morning but wouldnt install for me got a error then when i looked for it again it was saying cant find a update and that my system was up to date

I'm rooted, patched the TBH 3G Mobile hotspot and now I don't have internet at all. Data will not update on my phone either. Looks like Verizon shut off my data or I messed something up.

I've noticed one very irritating bug. I use PowerAmp to listen to music. When I wake the phone after it has gone to sleep with PowerAmp playing, I hear a click in the earphones when I press the button.

My DX got the update last night approx. 2AM. Installed with no issues at all. Not sure if it was the update or the fact that it rebooted, but it feels faster. At a quick look I did find the Madden game, but in order to run it, I had to download an extra file, but it seemed to be stuck. Will try later today. Other than that, seems the dialer lists the most recent call and how long ago it was, letting you dial it faster without going into the recent call tab.

Two X's updated. Downloaded this morning around 6:30am over wifi. Both updated with no problems and running with no problems so far.

It never crossed my mind to look at bookmarks in landscape mode... cool 3d effect as you scroll along... was this always there? Did not crash for me.

.. I can't check my dx(it's not with me) but since its off and in plane mode I probably dont have it either , ha

But maybe thats means I will get GB first if that holds true gloat on!! hahaha , but glad some of dx's owners getting it ,,,,just give it time it will happen so will the rest of us .
