What's so frustrating is if they are so convinced that only the hardcore Android fans are going to be buying this phone, then why do they care if Backup Assistant is on it? If they don't think the average consumer will buy this, why do they need to have an "idiot proof" program like that on it?
Or they're convinced only the hardcore Android fans know about it right now. lol

I just want this phone already!

the following is directed at Verizon Wireless:

This is a clear violation of what a Nexus device is intended to be. Don't we have any contacts at Google that can be used to put a heavy foot down?

I really want to just cancel my Verizon contract at this point. They are not good at supporting and releasing their phones. I still remember my Fascinate all too well.

Well at this rate I may just hold off and wait until CES, I do not understand why verizon dicks around with every phone release. Nothing can ever go as planned with verizon. If I was google I would say F you, you no longer get exclusivity or the right to sell it and go to the other carriers and sell it.

Eff the effing Backup Assistant. I'd pay an extra $50 to get the phone Monday, leave your POS software off of it, I do not need or want you to fix it.

I'm sure if they don't get it out by the end of November, heads will roll. They'll then have made liars out of several Google execs.

If I wasn't on a family plan and it wasn't such a hassle I would move all my lines over. At this point unlimited data isn't really a big selling point to me I can go to another carrier and atleast they are better with releasing phones. Plus at&t is rolling out their lte also. Verizon can't just sit back and continue screwing around with prices of phones especially.

At this point, I feel like buying a Thunderbolt or DX off eBay, keep my upgrade, and call it a day.
The way they're going, it will never be released.

I think I am done with Android. At least Apple makes Verizon do their bidding. I love Android, but Verizon is teaching me to hate it.

I heard a quote not long ago... "if everyone didn't want things they don't need the world would be a much better place"

silly to get so emotional over the delayed release of something we don't really need

it's getting pretty entertaining reading all of your posts tho :p

I think I may be with you on this one, Adrynalyne. I'm kicking myself in the ass for letting go of my Galaxy S2. Now I'm stuck with Verizon and I just can't see myself buying the Rezound or Razr. It's like buying the iPhone 4 when the 4S is a few weeks away. So I may just stick with my 4S, which is really sad.
