Availble online Monday, in stores Black Friday

Look here boys and girls, there is no freaking way that VZW is going to get to Black Friday and not have the Nexus on sale. VZW's Q4 is at stake here. If that phone isn't on sale by then, people will get fired at VZW. VZW wants to sell as many POS Razrs and Rezounds, but not at the expense of earnings.

As I was predicting in another post, VZW will start selling the Nexus online at Midnight Monday morning or right around then. Not in the stores on Monday because VZW doesn't want to poach sales from the above-mentioned POS. Then on Black Friday all h311 breaks loose and they offer the Nexus in the store.

Think about it. What are the marketing ppl at VZW thinking right now? I'll tell you. They are thinking: How the beezus are we gonna get truckloads of sheeple into our stores on Black Friday? Let met tell you. Offering the same two phones they've been selling for weeks ain't gonna cut it. (Unless they drop prices massively, which I doubt) They need a big deal. That's the Nexus. It's a perfect plan.

Logic agrees with you, but Verizon hasn't seemed to follow that. If this ends up being confirmed, and I hope it does, it still was an abomination of a launch. I'm sure most won't care when it's all said and done and they have the phone in hand, but this has been pretty ridiculous from the start.

Well in all honesty, if they would have the thing in stores on Monday, like I said in another thread, that wouldn't be all that bad as it's only 4 days after the UK launch, but since it won't be in stores, it is a little more ridiculous.

Any reason to believe that screen shot is even from VZW? Not even clear that the screen shot is about the PHONE. All the other items on that screen are marketing items, and the descriptions are about window displays and the like. So this screen shot shows is that some unknown carrier is going to be running certain signage abt the Nexus starting on Dec. 8.

Its a vicious cycle. Everyone jumps on a rumor, and runs with it. Now we have a new one. Well, not entirely new, its been cycling through IRC all day. IRC sees this info as fast if not faster than the blogs.

Relax, if you read everything in that screenshot it is clearly talking about marketing materials, it has nothing to do with a physical device.
