I've been have the lagging issue as well. I'm gonna try the 3++ kernel and see if that helps. If not, it's back to G3D.

I had some lagging issues as well... left for a while and then saw a post about the BAMF_Extras folder... so I flashed this ROM again a few days ago after I removed that folder from my SD Card... no more lagging issues.

Seems like a lot of people have the lagging issue. Guess I'll stick with bamf 1.09, no problems there.

No lags w/ 9/13 ziggy. But was wondering if there was a better kernel? The latest ziggys produce black death screen.

gonna have to say, the ++ kernal is fantastic and made a massive difference. deleting the folder and reflashing didn't do much for me.

Now I have the 3++ installed and working. Also, have IMO and 9/13 ziggy around just in case.

Imo kernel was working well for me but I flashed the original Rom again (also forgot to delete bamf folder) and 1.10 kernel seems to be running well this time. Maybe sitting overnight with no use after flashing allowed the kernel to settle in better. We'll see....

When you guys reflash the rom are you wiping data before or just wiping caches?

just dalvik and cache. i deleted the bamf folder before reflashing.

I loaded up IMO's kernel 5.1.0 with this to see if it made any difference with the occasional lag and then used the speed tweak to overclock (option 2). I must say it has been prefect. No lag at all. Seems too be a good combination for me. Anyone else have good luck with this kernel, and if so what settings did you use?

BAMF 1.10 final has been laggy for me as well, along with crippling lag during app updates and installs. Im confused as to what exactly this 3++ is. Install over the old rom (or is that a kernal?)? Or do I need to back up and flash as if it is new? Sorry guys, still new at some of this.

3++ is a new bamf built kernel. You can flash imo 5.0.1 right over it. Some find it better on their phones. I'm back on bamf++ after trying imo. I can't make up my mind which one I like better. I find it best to let the bamf kernel sit overnight to give it a chance to settle. Once I did that I found no big difference between the 2 kernels.

Yes, there's a 'recent_apps.zip' that you can load over this. It'll restore that capability. Look for it on the first page where all of the mods, patches, etc can be found.

BTW, any word on the Speed Dial #2 issue? It doesn't seem to be fixed with this update.
