Again, no facts. I have indeed tried the Nova Launcher. Try again.

.Enjoy returning your phones while the rest of us don't waste our time crying about a non-issue.

Where are you getting your thousands of reported issues from? Certainly not pulling them from a credible source. Out of possibly 50 to 70 Million that could sold by this device, that's not even a rounding error. Even the poll, albeit a small sample size and not highly scientific, on the site indicates that you are in the small minority. If you don't have the stomach to be an early adopter, then don't buy it in release day and don't preorder it. You are better off waiting until these issues are resolved. It is like anything you buy, rather than rant with random comments and whine posting the same comment about how the battery sucks across multiple threads, call your carrier customer service and work through the technical issues. If you can't resolve them but still like the device, return it for an exchange. If their resolution does not meet your expectations, then return it and get another device that meets your needs.
Let's be honest...there are A LOT of people having battery issues. Some are for Cell standby (that was me until yesterday's Samsung fix), some are Google Apps and some are just unexplained. There are certainly some people getting some pretty terrific battery life out of the S6 as we've seen, but I'd say those people are in the small minority. The number of posts and posters about S6 battery life problems, not only here but on XDA Develpers and many other sites and shows (including the Android Central podcast), say to me that there is a real issue here which clearly varies for different people, but it doesn't minimize that this is a real issue for a lot of people.
If you are getting great battery life it is due to great fortune (in not having those drain gremlins) and also very good phone management shutting down a lot of services. But your average S6 buyer isn't going to make all these tweaks (many of which I have done as well). The real issue here is that Google needs to fix Lollipop ASAP, especially if they expect people to spend over $1000 (like I did) on their flagship phones. Buyers, rightfully, have a high expectation for phones as expensive as these are. These phones are now more expensive than many laptops!
Agreed on this, but this applies to all Android devices on Lollipop right now. I'm just baffled at how people here haven't figured out that it's going to be a gamble no matter what device they choose right now. It's going to require some patience, but the end result is going to be positive.

You would think they would know how to deliver a phone with WiFi working normally.

I think mine worsened with the update
Sent from my S6 Edge
That same update came to my Note 4 this morning. My phone has been running very smooth and great battery life prior to that. I hope it helps many others who have had issues! My phone has Lollipop waiting to be installed, but I keep deferring, because I don't want those issues....so I'm wondering if it is helping those who have had issues with the Lollipop updates on other models as well.....

Absolutely...Samsung is taking a beating over this, they're losing sales through returns and people like me who are watching from the sidelines, you'd think they'd be all over Google for a fix, companies get grumpy when their fighting for their profits. Samsung was questioned from the start about their battery and the decision for it to be non removable and now with the Lollipop bug it's worst scenario has come true.
Yeah, it'll probably be fixed...we hope. The problem is timing, Google has to first recognize the problem, throw their programmers on it, provide a legitimate fix through robust beta testing, then roll it out to the carriers who will spend more time monkeying around with their version, then roll it out. Hardly a streamlined and nimble fix.
I don't think anyone expects a bug free release of any device, but this is a big one.
How do you know that Samsung is taking a beating? Stop making stuff up.

Pay attention, people are returning these phones. The more this gets out in the media the more sales suffer. If you don't think Samsung is aware of this and what it will do to sales you're delusional.
