Best Buy Order Status

Freaking best buy. Made me put down $50 and was told I could use that to pay sales tax. Nope, not on Sprint. Have to pay sales tax directly to Sprint on Easy Pay, so out another $100 since I got 2 phones.
Had to go to 2 stores. The best buy I pre-ordered at didn't get a single black leather. Fortunately, the other store 5 minutes away had extras and held one for me.
I guess with all these gift cards, I might get a Surface 3 today also.

Ive got this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach this is going to be another total screw up just like my note 4 BB pre order. I just called them they said they have 0 inventory and it might come on the truck today. I swear on all that is holy if I dont get my phone today I DONT CARE if they offer a free trip to the moon with the note 5 I will not buy it from them.
Been calling all the Manhattan stores. It appears every color for AT&T other than black leather is in stock. Not a single store received the leather combo. Sux!

Pre-order phone launches at best buy have always been a little botched. They sell you something and have absolutely no clue on the date it'll be available. Sorry to everyone going through this today with the AT&T black leather. That'd be the option I'd get if I were getting this phone.

I'd heard the negativity with BB pre-orders but didn't heed the warning due to having almost $90 in gift cards. Won't be doing this again.
I called another store about twenty minutes away and they said they don't even get truck deliveries today, only tuesdays and thursdays. So my best bet is to expect it Tuesday. W.T.F.

Glad my BB had an issue taking pre orders. Already hated Best Buy but this probably would've made probably driven me to the brink if insanity. Sorry to hear folks are having issues.

Add insult to injury, I don't even have my LG G3 as I busted my sim card reader (stupid sim card adapter!) and I've sent it to LG for hopefully warranty repair. So I don't even have a cell phone right now!
I'm happy that i was able to score the leather on Sprint at a different store. Funny thing was right after i finished activating at the other store, i got the confirmation email from my pre-order that it was ready from the original store. So either FedEx or ups showed up on the 45 minutes since i had left the store or they just didn't bother to bring everything from the dock to the floor. And of course the assistant manager didn't bother checking.
Can't believe ATT is such a mess with best buy.

I think this may be the first time Verizon has beat AT&T in shipping a flagship phone. The G4 looks great, don't blame you for wanting it sooner.
I wonder if the G4 is going to be in short supply for awhile. Right now it looks like the sales are going to way surpass what anyone was thinking. I bet this will be the best selling Android phone in 2015.

Thanks. I really lowered my expectations last night so i wasn't too frustrated going up there. I felt better this morning before they opened seeing most of the stores showing extra stock on the website. At least i knew i could get a phone.
I have a love hate with best buy. Been a rewards member for years and the points have gotten my quite a few things for free. But yes, they can really screw up at times.
This. Exactly. Low expectations.
We essentially have no competition for best buy....so options are scarce. The 100 gift card was the draw,as my company is buying it outright .
and I want to get a good deal
