Best Buy Orders

This means the phone is actually getting sent out, right? This is not a pre-order. I ordered it on the 27th. I hear so many horror stories. Best Buy was my last hope, because my AT&T pre order was stolen.

Is this a 256 or 128gb?
 
Still waiting on my green s22 ultra 256gb from Best buy, not a single hint of information have they provided me, besides they are waiting on shipment from Samsung. I'm just wondering if I'm in the minority here, has everyone gotten their best buy pre orders but me? I find it odd, more people aren't up in arms about it, and I see no articles written about these delays from best buy?

You don't see it anywhere because it's the "norm" when it comes to best buy.

You must be new here. If you check Best Buy threads from older devices, you'll see a lot of wringing of the hands, in frustration. That's why I refuse to pre-order from Best Buy.

I've had a chaotic experience, trying to get my S22 Ultra, because my pre-order phone from AT&T never made it, and my second order from them was cancelled, due to stock issues. Tried to order from Samsung, but they didn't recognize my upgrade. Best Buy was my last resort...I ordered on the 27th and my phone is arriving tomorrow. Go figure.

I'm not new here but never pre ordered from best buy before, definitely will be my last!
 
If you're going the unlocked route and don't want to order from Samsung it's better to just get it via Amazon. Only downside with Amazon you will get it on release date, not 4 days early.
 
Originally, the product page for all the S22 Ultras said "Order now and we'll let you know when it will be ready.." for both shipping and instore pickup...

Now, the 128GB model says it is available on release day for both shipping and instore pickup in my area.

The 256GB has this message for shipping: "Order now and we'll notify you when it will be ready to ship after a Release Day is announced"

The 512GB model still has the "we'll let you know" message for both shipping and instore pickup...
 
I preordered the 138 g nbecause Best Buy wasn't showing any 156 even though when you preorder that's what you are supposed to get. Well it's been how many days since it came out and I am still waiting for my phone. Last time this happed with the food and because Best Buy never emailed me it got canceled and I had to call the number from the email and they fixed it but I lost out on the 800 trade in so I am afraid of this happening again. I could have just went to Verizon and bought it they had it in stock and they had the 256 in burgundy. I can cancel my order from Best Buy but I wish I new it it would show canceled on Verizon me right away so I could just go purchase it. Does anyone know
 
That's what I am showing. There is no date and I just ordered the 128 g because it wouldn't let them order for the upgrade to 256
 
I am still waiting for the unlocked Phantom Black 256 Gb I preordered on 2/19. Very pissed at BB. Zero update and it continues to say "preparing" on the order page with no delivery date. Customer service reps swear I'll get it by 3/8. Not sure how that's going to happen. Included post on BB site of other customers' suffering. I love how BB's preorder gives you the opportunity to have the phone after everyone else and heat up the forums.

Just an FYI, Best buy said that my order was going to auto cancel on the 15th because it hadn't been fulfilled yet. I ordered a 256 white Ultra on Feb 9th with a delivery date of March 1st. That date came and went and my order just says that it is delayed. I checked today and basically the store said that there wasn't anything that they could do and if the phone didn't come in tomorrow the order would cancel and I would lose the preorder bonuses. I haven't contacted customer service yet but there was no indication that the order would cancel and I wouldn't have known unless I checked
 
Wow swqueen that’s wrong on Bestbuy parts .it’s Samsung not providing enough phones. I would ask to speak with manager at bb.and I would contact Samsung too.

Thanks for the heads-up. I ordered an S22U/256GB burgundy for Verizon from Best Buy on February 9th. I'm still waiting for my phone to come in as well. I paid for the phone in full on Feb. 9 and they gave me a $200 BB gift card, which I've been hanging onto just in case of a situation like this. If they're going to cancel my order, I expect them to refund the entire amount that I paid on Feb. 9th, and I'll give them back their gift card.
 
I just got back from my local Best Buy and confirmed @swqueens' information. All unfilled pre-orders through Best Buy will be cancelled tomorrow, Tues. 3/15. I was told we would receive an email informing us of said cancellation. All moneys paid at pre-order will be fully refunded, and the $200 gift cards we received at pre-order are ours to keep. On top of that, we will receive an additional $100 gift card from Best Buy for our troubles. Tomorrow will tell if the Best Buy manager I spoke to was giving me good information or not.

Is $300 enough compensation for time wasted? Bittersweet I guess once you guys actually get a phone.
 
Hmmm….I never received the gift card, I was supposed to receive it when I picked up the phone. I wonder how that will work. I tried calling customer service today and got the same “we can’t do anything” answer. I tried to escalate to a supervisor but got disconnected. At this point I guess I will just see what happens tomorrow
 
Did you pay in full for your phone when you pre-ordered? I did, so they gave me the gift card at that time.
