Yeah that's a good idea I was in a rush honestly I think it's the Korean made models. Mine's of Vietnam made model so we'll see that's what I've deduced I could be wrongNot to worry anyone who grabbed and ran, but when I pick mine up, I'm opening and powering up in store to make sure I don't have the red tint screen issue. Some users are reporting it even in the US. Not that it's necessarily widespread, but if I have to swap it out, I'm right there.
I can tell you this much the girl that I saw even though I ordered online she said they cancelled activating them in the store because they're busy although there was no one in line I was five minutes so I don't know the mobile center look busy as hell I was at the counter for online pickup. I have a feeling they let you leave without activating itCan anyone confirm who did their preorder IN store (not online) for in store pickup that they did not have to activate it there in the store? I think policy is they have to, but curious if the anticipated crowds have modified the policy today.
I pre-ordered in-store for in-store pickup and they did activate the phone while I was there, but they did not open the box or install the sim card for me.Can anyone confirm who did their preorder IN store (not online) for in store pickup that they did not have to activate it there in the store? Cool, my poorly worded question was actually about them opening the box. It's irrational, probably immature and a bit OCD, but many of us actually prefer to be the first to touch and peel that plastic off. Like cutting the phone's umbilical cord.
