Best Cases for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

I got the Spigen case. It looks so good, I love it.

Just got this one too .. pretty nice. I was going to get the Neo Hybrid in black, but didn't like the shiny edges (would have gotten it in matte) - oddly enough, that case is no longer available on amazon. I had bookmarked it two days ago.

In any case, the S9 is crazy slippery, so I wanted a case on it, and Spigen has worked well for me in the past, and this seemed like a good bet. Love how stealthy it looks.

Ending up getting the Spigen Neo Hybrid in Gunmetal/Black, think it will look sharp with a black S9. $14.99 from Amazon...

Wish they had it with matte black (instead of shiny black) bumpers. I got the Spigen Rugged Armor instead - love the stealthy matte design.

But it should get better with time. Once hand oils and everything absorb in, it wont be as much of a magnet. At least that’s what happened with my Apple silicone cases and they feel exactly the same.

It has raised edges on top and bottom so I don't see it a problem. Samsung was very smart on how they designed this.

I noticed that many Spigen cases are no longer available on Amazon. The Ultra Hybrid I just got is gone along with many I had bookmarked.
Maybe they want people to buy from their site but they're more expensive for some reason - I was about to order through them but why would I pay 24.99 when its 9$ on Amazon & they're the seller?

Still loving the case btw... It looks great and my son dropped my phone yesterday and zero damage from a 4 foot fall. I was worried about it since they're silicone & so thin.

Used to use the Spigen Liquid Crystal cases, but decided that I don't get quite as much protection as I'd like. So I've gone to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, seems a little better. Clear cases for me.

Just got my plasma clear uag case and caseology screen protector today tho I may got with the zagg protector at best buy when I pick up the phone Friday...as far as the case I want to try something different but I seem to always come back to the uag...have it on my LG G6 and have dropped that a few times with no damage can't speak for how a curved screen will do in the same case tho :/ still want to maybe try the iblason or thebut I'd like something clear to actually show off the phone color...the xdoria one peaked my interest bc of the channel at the bottom that redirects the bottom speaker so it sounds forward but reviews on the s8 version a lot of people said it has no shock absorb to it and screens cracked...I guess I'm just going through the reviews for the s8 cases to see what ones are good since it's pretty much the same design

Edit: so after reviews seems like the plasma uag case isn't compatible with many if the glass screen protectors out there so might be sending it back

Same! It protected my s7 pretty well. I had to get a tech21 case at TMobile cuz the Spigen is still in route from Amazon and I couldn't bear the thought of a naked glass phone. Heard these puppies are fragile as... Well... Pretty dang fragile.
I'm hoping the ultra hybrid does as good on the s9. I would actually LOVE a case with a lip all around the front, not just the top. I don't care about the edge option that much.

This is the case I had with my S9Plus when I had it - it felt very solid and protected all the way around.

I usually buy Zizio cases. They're durable, come with a screen protector, they have a kickstand, and a belt clip for those who may need it. I'm a huge fan of kickstand cases so it's an all around great case and always my choice. It's fairly priced and you can find a deal on some sites.
