Best Galaxy Note 4 Tempered Glass Screen Protector

I am going to give this a shot... it says the protector covers the 2.5D edges... For less than $5, worth to give it a try. Thanks for sharing the link.

Well it's official iloome just dropped out of the game for the screen protector for the note 4

At this point I've got to call BS on Samsung for using a curved screen which to the best of my knowledge contributes absolutely nothing to the phone's performance. How ridiculous is it that you can't even buy a tempered glass screen protector that covers only the flat portion of the screen without leaving a halo? Look at all the hassle for the people that bought protectors and have to return them.

We should all email Samsung and demand they produce a tempered glass protector that fits even if it only covers the flat portion. Maybe if they get several hundred emails expressing our extreme displeasure and demand they offer a protector they will.

Lol. You're delusional.

So if you really don't like the halo around the edge fill it in with some UV LOCA and cure it with a UV light. Problem solved.

Demand all you want. Hell, go make an online petition! You'll get as much done doing so as those who do nothing.

Samsung chose to use 2D glass and I have no idea why. Its the ONLY thing preventing me from buying a Note 4 as soon as Verizon stocks it. I tried going without a Tempered Glass screen protector but I was always paranoid and looking for scratches. I don't worry about this when I have a protector.

Well at least I'm getting my outterbox box on Thursday so I will use that with the screen protector that it comes with till something comes out

I ordered the Note 4 one on their site a few days ago, and now its gone. I didn't get any email about it being dropped! If they ship it, are you saying there was something wrong with it, and why are they discontinuing the note 4 version? Thanks

I wouldn't let that stop you from upgrading to this phone. I believe that Mime US is working on a glass protector and since they have created one for the new iPhones, so I assume they will come up with something; they make great quality products. In the meantime, I am using a Spigen Crystal Clear protector and while it does have large gaps, it is very thin and clear. Honestly, I am a nit picker or the screen protector quality and, surprisingly, this isn't that bad or noticeable. It is also very smooth, which helps make the gaps less problematic.

Just go to their Web site and find contact us and send them a e mail with your order number and they will email you back and let you know about the ball dropping that they did

the one from MIME also leaves the gaps on the edges for the iPhone 6, It wouldn't be different for the Note 4

I purchased the zag glass from sprint and they installed it for me seemed to go on very easy and it looks and works great

It doesn't say it covers the 2.5 edges, it says it has 2.5d edges to prevent chipping. They didn't invent some magic glass cutting technique that protects the curved edges. Someone on XDA already bought one of those and it doesn't fit. Not worth a try.

Is there a general consensus of what the best screen protector is as of now? Even if it's not tempered glass?

So when I first got my black Note 4 I put this glass protector on called Bear Motion

Amazon.com: Galaxy Note 4 Screen Protector - Bear Motion Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Galaxy Note 4: Cell Phones & Accessories

It covered very close to every square millimeter of the screen. Any larger and the case could have pushed it up, but it didn't. It did have the halo but you could only see it when the screen was off. Problem I thought was the screen protector was a fingerprint magnet. The surface is extremely polished, smooth and reflective but very very clear.

So today I took delivery of a second Note 4, a white one. Stripped that screen protector off the black one and then plopped it down on the new white phone. It looks good but likes fingerprints like the FBI.

So I put this protector back on the black Note 2:

Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector Shield for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 | eBay

This one I received an email telling me delivery was delayed because they we haloing. Took an extra couple days but was timely. The Supershieldz is about 2 millimeters smaller than the Bear Motion but that also results in less halo, still does but not very noticeable and seems to be lessening as the adhesive sets. What I like about the Supershieldz is the finger prints are no problem and the surface is not as reflective. Hold onto your socks, Here are some photos of the Supershieldz through a microscope at 70X.
