Thanks man. Yea that was a bad goof on me.
The bill credits are up to 999.99, but with the 100 off at best buy you will only recieve bill credits equal to the 899.99. It's basically buy one get one free of equal or lesser value up to 999.99.ok, never done a pre-order with best buy and never done device payments last and current phone is a note 4.
So i need some billing credit best buy knowledge, or at least confirmation.
What the guy at BB told me was that each phone is $899 with the $100 off. For a total of $1798. Minus the $1000 bill credit makes $798 for the two phones payable at around $33.25/mo addition on the bill.
Does this sound around right?
second, is the $899 the actual price or is that a best buy billing credit? (vs the $1000 verizon credit)
last, when i called verizon to cancel a spare line we had the rep told me that the billing credits will total $1000 but they may start in 2-3 billing cycles so i might be paying more for a couple of months and might be getting credits a couple months after the phones are already paid for.
the best buy dude told me the billing credits that start in 2-3 cycles "catch up" so if i am paying $74 for two months before the credits start i will get 2 $40 credits when they kick in so i won't have over paid for 2 years before it evens out.
Verizon isn't shipping yet, at&t is not shipping yet. As far as Samsung goes right now, they are just starting to prep for shipping. The release date is 24th. It does not look like there will be early release this time around. I'm all for getting it early, but this time around I'm going to be happy to have it by the 24th. At this point in time I'm just concerned about the blue 512 version being available.I just called Best Buy 1-800 number, and asked them about the order. They said per Samsung, they can not release those phones till the 24th. She said they have to set that expectation that you may not get it till the 25th. She said legally they can't sell them before that.
I just laughed and said you know all the carriers and Samsung are already preparing to ship and some have shipped right?
So now I am seriously worried. I am leaving town on the 25th early morning.I told her, why post on your site to get it on the 24th or before then. She said usually its after. I told them, I won't be ordering from them again if thats the case.

You cant cancel the other one though. Would you return it with a return fee?If my order of the AT&T Blue 128 N9 is not ready on the 24th. I'll just go to an AT&T store and pick one up Friday morning

I agree if I can get it by the 24th, but she kept saying you most likely won't as they won't ship till the 24th. GRR
What ever made you believe she has any idea what you are even talking about. They have millions of items, and her computer says "ships on 8/24". Leave the poor customer service people alone. They don't need us bothering them about things that have absolutly no control over and very little knowledge of.
lol. No idea why so many people call up customer service for preorders. That sure will speed up getting the phoneWhat ever made you believe she has any idea what you are even talking about. Not to mention they farm out customer support to contractors for some times and workloads, so could know even less. Most retailers do it to some degree. What ever made you believe she has any idea what you are even talking about. They have millions of items, and her computer says "ships on 8/24".
