If I may ask a question....

Those of you who are trading in a phone, do you prefer to back up your own data & take in the wiped device? Or...do you let Best Buy transfer your data & then wipe the device?

The Best Buy Employee said they would transfer the data & activate the new phone. However, my husband pre-ordered an unlocked phone. I was going to wipe his s9 trade-in & just pop his T-Mobile sim into the new s10+.

How do you folks handle a trade-in?

As long as your pre-ordered before today, no matter when you receive the phone, you should still be eligible for the buds.

My preorder that I ordered in store still states it will be ready for pickup today. I was told when I ordered it that they would call yesterday to set up an appointment, but no call. I can actually still cancel if that means anything. If the phone is late it is not the end of the world for me so we will see.

Got 3 of the 4 pickup emails. Still didn't get the white one but she called me last night and said to come in at open. Plus online it says they have 2 left. So here's hoping!

I ordered a few days ago and only black was available for pickup. Fingers crossed.

I'm on my Pixel 3 XL so I'm not complaining too much. Just kicking myself in the butt because I should've went through VZW or Samsung and not Best Buy.

I cancelled my Samsung order because I had to wait to the 15th.

i only used best buy because of that juicy $650 off with qualifying trade in

Agreed, I did this also with the Note 9 and it was the same thing so after this, no more pre ordering from Best Buy, it's just no guarantee and they don't have a valid system in place for pre-orders.
