BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

After an hour of going back/forth and getting transferred 3 times hearing there's nothing they can do. Also saying they don't know when my phone will be available even though other stores and online showed it in stock finally hels on long enough to hear that my order is ready to pick up. Bestbuy is the weirdest and worst to deal with for phone releases, but the promotions seem to always beat everyone else.

I pre-ordered February 22nd my husband is getting his Samsung one on Wednesday. Corperate told me today they got an email saying they needed to get these pre-orders out within 7 days and that a truck comes into the store Monday Wednesday and Friday and then something about drop shipments. When I log into my account it still says we will email you when available they have no info on my phone

Mine came in today! Going to pick it up in a few. Keep the faith!

I got the dreaded email on Friday saying phone (Verizon S10+, blue, 128GB) was delayed. Then received a phone call Saturday stating phone arrived. I picked it up yesterday. Mobile manager said that they got 85 phones in on Saturday.

I live within 15 miles of 3 Best Buys and they have no Unlocked or Sprint S10+ in a 250 mile radius. Hope I hear something by Friday. I haven't been able to get any social media interaction from BB at all.

I waited to preorder the Samsung S10 til I had the money (3/7). The guy said I would get it soon. I decided to order Flamingo Pink since I had choice of colors. After reading this forum, seeing that people who preordered back in February are still waiting, and receiving no word by Sunday 3/10, I decided to go to the store and see if someone could give me better info than "pickup when available". The associate was very nice and went through customer service, my order, and everything. He couldn't pull up an inventory number or anything regarding when I would likely see the phone. He had an S10 in black in stock and I bought it. My heart was never really sold on the Flamingo Pink anyway, just a fun pick since I had the choice. He couldn't cancel my preorder, but said since I never put any money down, I could just not show when I got the email to pick up. An email to pick up has still not come.

It sounds like everyone is having issues with the blue one but I'm still waiting for the white one, 128 unlocked. When I ordered it nothing said anything about a delay or backorder. I also ordered it fairly early in the morning and it said available as soon as today. I thought that was kinda fast but I've gotten replacement phones with insurance the next day when ordered fairly late in the evening so I was pretty stoked. Now I'm in some kind of limbo.

I just called my Best Buy and was told the same thing no phones in a 250 mile radius. He said only the S10E. I was told shipments come in Mon Wed & Fri and yesterday the guy who picked up at the front counter said they get a UPS shipment in the am but the actual mobile department guy said no they usually come around 7 or 8 before closing.

So once again no-one knows and I am stuck waiting. I was going to just see if I could get another color and if maybe they would compensate me for the $130 if I cancelled my pre-order and just bought a different color but no one has them in stock. Now I wish I had kept my Samsung order cause I did order before my husband and would of gotten mine today his is out for delivery.

At my local store they have every color except black.... not sure why. I ordered my white the day after my brother (Preordered) and he still doesn't have his black one in yet. Got mine on release day.

I called best buy because I still dont knowwhen I'm going to get my phone cause I never got a delay email or a actual date on when I'm going to get my phone. The guy said he has no idea either. He said they get their trucks every day. So who knows when I'm gonna get my phone. He said there's no phones on for sale in store because they are filling preorders first. I don't believe that. If mine comes in at 8pm tonight on the truck their till open till 9 LOL! But since I haven't gotten any delay email or an actual date I'm not counting on anytime soon. The 1800 # said people were getting a 7 day email not me.

Really wow! I hope that's my case. I do know they will get a truck in tonight just not sure when but if by chance I was to get an email around 8 or so and their open till 9 I think I would rush to the store which is like 15 minutes away. If not tonight tomorrow before work. But like I said I'm not getting my hopes up. I was told their is a BB warehouse here in town that I didn't know about but that may not make a difference. Samsung said they were doing their best to get them the phones. Yeah Right!

Well I almost cancelled too and the other night maybe like 2-3 nights ago my same phone from Samsung said ship by the 15th. I hated to lose the buds and decided to wait it out because my BB a guy at the front desk said who I never should of listened too oh UPS will be here in the am just wait I bet it's on the truck. He has no idea the back order and high demand of this phone. But anyway I went back to Samsung yesterday and my same phone now says ship by 4/5. But I at least figured if it said ship by 3/15 that would mean maybe they had a couple to send to Best Buy. LOL!

I got my email from Best Buy that my black S10+ is now ready for pickup yesterday. I preordered on 2/22.

My Best Buy said they don't get their UPS truck in till like 8pm maybe 7. You know how bad I want it to be on that truck and how ready I will be to run out the door and go get it LOL! But I am not counting on it! Glad to here your getting your black one from 2/22 pre-order that is when I ordered mine. I should of done white LOL!
