BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Called a bigger BB in my area and they said just to call them in the morning they get their truck tonight and if I do t get a call from my store and they have a blue one that I can come get it. Fingers crossed that holds up
I know. Definitely will be the last time I go through Best Buy. It seems like no one there knows what's going on.
He told me that they started calling people this morning to schedule their appointments and I said "well if I was #7 how come I haven't gotten a call"? And he replied with "Oh they will probably call you tonight or tomorrow"? If I wasn't so sure I'd get my Black one tomorrow I would definitely cancel all three and just pick up from Verizon tomorrow.
Another thing the manager said when he swung by was, if you don't receive and email by tonight or early tomorrow morning then most likely your phone didn't come in the shipment for release day. Take it with a grain of salt though...

Last year everyone that pre-ordered from Best Buy for delivery got their phones early while I chose in-store pick-up on release date. This year I ordered on the first day, chose delivery and what do you know, still haven't got my phone and it still hasn't shipped. It has a delivery date for tomorrow but the status is still "Pre-ordered". I can't do anything but laugh. I really was looking forward to playing with it this weekend.

Does anyone know if Best Buy will actually have the earbuds to offer with the phone or will we have to use a certificate on samsungs site?
The offer is through Samsung only. You claim them on the Shop Samsung app on your S10.
Best Buys website now says available for pickup on the 15th so I guess that I can assume that it's too late to pre order on the site and get one tomorrow? Or just order and see what happens tomorrow and cancel if I find it elsewhere sooner?
Hey man i'm in the same boat, preordered first night blue 128gb for verizon and my status hasn't changed either and i did for delivery also. Last year they sent me an email that it shipped at around 5pm the day before as it was overnight shipping and i got it , but its past 5pm now and still nothing, its not looking good ugh!!!

My first pre-order says ready for pick up, will be held for me until March 14th. The problem is that this BB doesn't accept trade-ins (something to do with stolen phones in the area) and now I have no idea what to do. No email, no appointment call. Just says "ready for pick up".

This is all just rediculous I understand they are being super shady so we don't all cancel our orders by not updating and keeping the 8th day. But they do understand I will barely want to ever buy from them again and I'm elite plus so I buy a lot there. This isn't cool. Like if white was overselling say it's out of stock, I would have bought another color. If one won't be in stock tomorrow tell us. I might even stick with it if I have an estimated date I'd get it. Being left in the dark is just complete crap!

I agree, when I ordered the s10+ ceramic White 1tb, I kept checking to see if they we're going to stop doing pick ups in my area. They just changed to shipping only last weekend so I figured I'd have a great chance since I pre-ordered on 2.20. Well, doesn't look like the case for me, unless something changes by tomorrow.
I ordered the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 128GB White for AT&T on March 5, just got shipped at 5 p.m. tonight.
I'm super glad you are getting yours. Please don't get me wrong. But how in the world does it seem that all of us that ordered far earlier aren't going to get store pickup tomorrow and they had enough to ship from the 5th?
Also could have been decent info, it said specifically get it faster pick up on release day!

Yea this is crap. Ordered in store on the 21st a blue ATT model and not a damn thing. I can't even see my order online. Called BB and they can see it on their end OK but something about my order number starting with a 33 and not a 11? Doesn't make sense to me. Stopped by the store and they're all clueless, all I wanted to know is where I'm at on the list because the lady doing my pre order said I'm the 1st in store pre order so I should be good for one on Friday. My question is do the online orders get taken first?

Yeah, this is the 2nd time Best Buy has dropped the ball. But I'll see what happens tomorrow lol. I'd hate to be a Best Buy worker tomorrow.
