BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

They just offered it up front once I provided some information about my situation. I was honestly surprised that they were so quick to offer. I considered seeing if they would go higher, but didn't want to push my luck.

I preordered an unlocked version a day after preorders went live. I got an email Thursday night it was ready for pickup. Since it was unlocked and no activation required, I just went to online order for pickup and was out of the store by 10:05am Friday. Quick and easy.

I pre-ordered February 22nd my husband is getting his Samsung one on Wednesday. Corperate told me today they got an email saying they needed to get these pre-orders out within 7 days and that a truck comes into the store Monday Wednesday and Friday and then something about drop shipments. When I log into my account it still says we will email you when available they have no info on my phone

Corperate told me today they got an email saying they needed to get these pre-orders out within 7 days and that a truck comes into the store Monday Wednesday and Friday and then something about drop shipments. When I log into my account it still says we will email you when available they have no info on my phone

They told me when I contacted best buy on Facebook messenger that they have no idea when my phone will come in. It still says processing my order and it wont allow me to cancel.

Well Best Buy has no idea when my phone will be in. She said the next shipment is on Friday from the 1-800 # I said oh yesterday it was M W & F. She said oh yeah it could come tomorrow. No-one knows what the heck is going on and I can get one from Samsung and have it by the 15th but I hate to lose the buds. But I called the actual store and they were busy and it took me to the front desk and he said oh UPS comes in the AM I bet you get it tomorrow. So we'll see once again.

I'll still be around once I get the phone cause I have to go back to many posts cause I am not going to remember lots of stuff about how to do certain things and the best settings people like. Glad those who have gotten their phone are enjoying it though.

I was in a similar situation with Best Buy. Pre-ordered on March 1st and was promised a March 8th pick up.

On March 9th when it still wasn't in I went to a different Best Buy and bought the exact same phone except for the color and I did the buds offer took a pic of my original pre-order sheet and they just excepted it!

Maybe since you purchased a lower storage tier than what was pre-ordered they will put it through. They may put it through anyway. Doesn't hurt to see if the offer shows up on Shop Samsung.

Rose, for the sake of your sanity, maybe its time to cut bait and just order one from Samsung that you know is in stock and deal with the buds separately! Heck, probably be able to get a deal on ebay for a pair before long...probably be flooded with all the freebies that folks are getting.

Thanks! I am off tomorrow and would love to be able to get it in the morning before my husband leaves for work which is around 2 then I can come back home and mess with it the rest of the day and night setting it up. And he can listen for Fed-Ex while I am gone. That would be perfect for me.

Well I'm giving them one more day till tomorrow. Corporate said they were trying to fill all pre-orders within 7 days yesterday and if shipments do come in tomorrow and Fri I may as well stick it at least till tomorrow. I really hate to do the Samsung trade-in really. I know I can get the buds later on. I just need to decide what to do. If you go to order my phone on BB website it's not available. On Samsung it did say by the 15th but it may not still be that way I'll have to check.

Just went to my local best buy to pre order and they said they don't have the option for blue in the S10+. Anyone have any luck getting a Prism Blue pre ordered through Best Buy?

Well now on Samsung it went from 3/15 to 4/5 so I'll just wait. Maybe it will be in tomorrows shipment will see. At least I'll be able to mess with husbands to see how it is.

I just went to Best Buy over lunch and picked up a Black 128 S10+ for AT&T.

They only had 3 Black and 2 Blue ones in stock at the moment. I wasn't even planning on buying one, I just wanted to look at it. But I guess I really liked it. hehe

I haven't set it up yet, I will wait until I get home. I don't let them touch it when I buy a phone. I ask them to leave it unopened and I will do the unboxing and setup at home.

All the BB stores that surround the store I ordered from have my phone in stock, two are less than 10 miles away. My store still has zero in stock according to website. Hopefully they will arrive soon.

Same here. My local store is small and pretty rural. Hopefully it's just a day behind the others!
